Filter by:The AWARE-Angina study is a cluster randomized trial aimed at evaluating whether routine provider feedback of patients' angina burden and activity level can improve angina control. Patients will wear an activity monitor for 6 months, and their providers will be randomized to receive either monthly feedback or feedback at the end of the study period.
The aim of the study is to test whether, in patients with angina and flow limiting epicardial coronary artery disease, pre-treatment with Ivabradine, as opposed to beta blockers, will reduce post percutaneous coronary intervention induced microvascular dysfunction.
This study will compare the physiologic responses between exercise stress echocardiography and pharmacologic stress echocardiography on left ventricular volume and wall stress.
After 6 weeks of maximal Ranolazine therapy, tissue hemoglobin desaturation kinetics will change compared to placebo in patients with chronic angina and peripheral arterial disease.
