NCT ID: NCT06206369 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Peripheral Arterial Disease

Developing Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Driven Tools to Predict Vascular Disease Risk and Progression

VASCULAIDRETRO
Start date: October 31, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The VASCULAID-RETRO study, within the broader VASCULAID project, aims to create artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms that can predict cardiovascular events and the progression of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The study plans to gather and analyze data from at least 5000 AAA and 6000 PAD patients, combining existing cohorts and retrospectively collected data. During this project, AI tools will be developed to perform automatic anatomical segmentation and analyses on multimodal imaging. AI prediction algorithms will be developed based on multisource data (imaging, medical history, -omics).

NCT ID: NCT06044480 Not yet recruiting - Dexamethasone Clinical Trials

Effect of Dexamethason on Postimplantation Syndrome After EVAR

DEPOS
Start date: November 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study is a multi center double-blinded randomized controlled superiority trial, comparing the effects on postimplantatrion syndrome of a single preoperative dose of dexamethasone vs. standard treatment in endovascular aneurysm repair. Participating researchers must be vascular surgeons or vascular anesthesiologists certified by national entities. Recruitment is expected to begin in the second semester of 2023. The trial will follow the ICH-GCP guidelines and national and international legislation and reporting will be performed according to CONSORT 2010 guidelines. Site inclusion requires hospital ethics committee approval. Written informed consent is mandatory for all patients and the information and consent forms must be approved by Institutional Ethics Committee.

NCT ID: NCT05519826 Completed - Aneurysm Abdominal Clinical Trials

A Retrospective, Observational Study to Collect Clinical Safety and Performance Data of POLYMAILLE® EXTRA THIN Vascular Prothesis

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this PMCF study is to evaluate a minimum of 125 subjects in 1 or 2 sites in France at least 1-year follow-up after surgery until a maximum of 5 years in the indication of abdominal and peripheral arterial surgery not crossing the knee flexion crease. the objectives of the evaluation will describe safety and performance of POLYMAILLE® EXTRA THIN.

NCT ID: NCT05517876 Completed - Aneurysm Abdominal Clinical Trials

A Retrospective, Observational, Multicenter, Study to Collect Clinical Safety and Performance Data on POLYMAILLE®C

Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Purpose of the study is to describe safety and performance of POLYMAILLE® C from a minimum of 200 subjects will be evaluated. A minimum of 100 subjects will be evaluated for each main location of surgery (abdominal and peripheral). Follow-up At least 1 year follow-up after surgery until a maximum of 5 years. POLYMAILLE®C vascular prostheses are indicated for replacement or bypass of arteries presenting aneurysm or obliterative arterial disease. Their indication is restricted to abdominal and peripheral surgery not crossing the knee flexion crease.

NCT ID: NCT05346289 Completed - Clinical trials for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Elective Treatment Rates and Surgical Non-eligibility Among Men and Women With Intact Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms

Start date: June 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overall aim is to determine the frequency by which women and men with intact abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) are treated with elective surgery at three vascular outpatient clinics in Europe, and to investigate whether the reasons to refrain from elective surgery differ between the sexes.

NCT ID: NCT05324657 Completed - Aneurysm Abdominal Clinical Trials

Anatomical and Perioperative Predisposing Factor for Limb Occlusion of Incraft Infrarenal Endograft (LIMIT Study)

Start date: February 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim was to determine, within the patient enrolled in three controlled prospective studies, INNOVATION, INSPIRATION and INSIGHT (Sponsor: Cordis, A Cardinal Health Company) studies which are preoperative and postoperative anatomical risk factors associated to limb occlusion. In the three studies the total number of enrolled patients was 400, of whom 134 enrolled in the US

NCT ID: NCT05141123 Completed - Aneurysm Abdominal Clinical Trials

Registry of Patients Treated by Preloaded Fenestrated Stent-graft Designs for Complex Endovascular Aortic Procedures

Start date: October 30, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of the study is to evaluate the outcomes of the preloaded stent-graft design (PLD) in the routine treatment of para-renal and thoraco-abdominal aneurysms. Results and postoperative events are reported in accordance with the current reporting standards for endovascular aortic repair prepared and revised by the Ad Hoc Committee for Standardized Reporting Practices in Vascular Surgery of The Society for Vascular Surgery/American Association for Vascular Surgery. The Registry will include approximately 300 patients treated from January 2015 to May 2021 (retrospective arm) and June 2021 to June 2023 (perspective arm) for the routine treatment of para-renal and thoraco-abdominal aneurysms. To reach 300 patients, the enrollments can be extended until June 2026.
