Filter by:In this double blind randomized clinical trial the investigators are going to exam influence of adjuvant Aspirin therapy on soft neurological signs (Heidelberg scale), positive and negative symptoms (PANSS), cytokine profile and inflammatory factors, as well as on cognition (MoCA) in young psychotic patients.
The overarching aim of the research project is to investigate whether Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an efficacious psychotherapeutic method of treatment for inpatients suffering from acute psychosis. The method will be applied in two ways. Firstly, as an individual treatment for patients. Secondly, as an integrated part of the daily work on an inpatient ward, administered by nurses and assistant nurses trained in the method.
This study compared standard hospital restraints to a newer safety net restraint system to compare them for acceptability, tolerance, duration of restrain, length of stay in the hospital, and satisfaction of MD, nurse, and relatives of patients.
