Filter by:This study is an open-label dose escalation study (Phase 1a) to investigate the safety and toxicity of intravesical treatment of high-grade NMIBC (HGTa or CIS, including CIS with concomitant Ta) after transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) and/or biopsy using TARA-002 in adults unable to obtain intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG), adults who have received at least one dose of intravesical BCG or adults who have received at least one dose of intravesical chemotherapy. Dosing will start in subjects with HGTa or CIS (including CIS with concomitant Ta), and all subjects will receive 6 weeks of treatment at a fixed volume with varying dose levels.
In this study, the local and systemic side effects, tumor recurrens and progression rates of single or continuous epirubicin instillation during the early postoperative period were investigated in low and intermediate risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
Retrospective study of outcome of urinary bladder cancer treated in Sohag University hospital in the past 5 years from 2016 to 2020
Surveillance for recurrence of urothelial carcinoma (UC) requires frequent cystoscopy, which is invasive, expensive and time-consuming. An accurate urinary biomarker has the potential to reduce the number of cystoscopies required during post-treatment surveillance. This is a prospective single arm multi-center study using the diagnostic CxBladder test with subjects previously diagnosed positive with primary or recurrent UC and who are undergoing a schedule of investigative cystoscopies and treatment for the possible recurrence of urothelial carcinoma presenting to qualified sites. To test the pathway multiple consecutive urine samples will be collected during the course of surveillance and records review follow-up will also be completed.
In this study, investigators aim to determine the true positivity of bladder cancer identified in the bladder base, trigone or neck on ultrasonography (USG) in patients presenting with hematuria or lower urinary tract symptoms, by confirming with the gold standard cystoscopy and biopsy results. It also aims to explore criteria that would allow to differentiate between intravesical prostate protrusion (IPP) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and bladder cancer indicated at the bladder floor, trigone and neck by evaluating false positive results.
A Phase II Multi-Arm (basket) Trial Investigating the Safety and Efficacy of IO102-IO103 in Combination with pembrolizumab, as First-line Treatment for Patients with Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Head or Neck (SCCHN), or Metastatic Urothelial Bladder Cancer (mUBC)
This is a Phase II, single-arm, study of pembrolizumab as maintenance therapy in muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) participants who have received maximum TURBT and tri-modality treatment (TMT) and achieved CR. All participants will receive pembrolizumab monotherapy per 21 days no longer than 17 cycles until disease progression or death.
Postoperative delirium(POD)is a common complication that can directly affect important clinical outcomes, and exert an enormous burden on patients, their families, hospitals, and public resources. In order to evaluate whether an intraoperative administration of low-dose neuroleptanalgesia reduces postoperative delirium, droperidol 1.25 mg and fentanyl 0.025 mg or normal saline is used by intravenous injection 30 minutes before the end of the operation, in elderly patients with non-cardiac major surgery under general anesthesia. The efficiency and safety of neuroleptanalgesia on the incidence of POD would be evaluated in elderly patients.
Bladder cancer is a common malignant tumor of the urinary system, radical resection plus urinary diversion is the first choice of treatment for muscle invasive bladder cancer. Urinary diversion of surgical options related to patient'survival and quality of life. In 2000, professor Chunxiao Liu invented "detaenial sigmoid neobladder", this surgical method overset the traditional intestinal detubularization approach, which detached the serosal layer with smooth muscle from the bowel without split it. This kind of neobladder is easier to construct and have less impact on intestinal function. So far, it has been implemented for more than 700 cases in Zhujiang hospital, the age of patients range from 9 months (bladder rhabdomyosarcoma) to 88 years old. The filed of standard radical bladder cancer resection includes the structure of the prostate and seminal vesicles. More and more studies and long-term clinical experience in our hospital have confirmed that capsule sparing cystectomy can achieve good tumor control and excellent functional recovery. Our project is going to perform a randomized controlled trial for capsule sparing cystectomy and conventional radical cystoprostatectomy and look forward to assess the oncology outcome and functional recovery of these two procedures which provide an objective basis for the patients undergoing orthotopic urinary diversion in the future.
The purpose of ORACLE is to demonstrate the ability of a novel ctDNA assay developed by Guardant Health to detect recurrence in individuals treated for early-stage solid tumors. It is necessary that ctDNA test results are linked to clinical outcomes in order to demonstrate clinical validity for recurrence detection and explore its value in a healthcare environment subject to cost containment.
