NCT ID: NCT01558778 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia

Mechanical Stimulation in Preventing Bone Density Loss in Patients Undergoing Donor Stem Cell Transplant

Start date: May 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies mechanical stimulation in preventing bone density loss in patients undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Mechanical stimulation may limit, prevent, or reverse bone loss, increase muscle and cardiac performance, and improve overall health

NCT ID: NCT00087191 Terminated - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

EF5 and Motexafin Lutetium in Detecting Tumor Cells in Patients With Abdominal or Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: May 2004
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial is studying the amount of EF5 and motexafin lutetium present in tumor cells and/or normal tissues of patients with abdominal (such as ovarian, colon, or stomach cancer) or non-small cell lung cancer. EF5 may be effective in measuring oxygen in tumor tissue. Photosensitizing drugs such as motexafin lutetium are absorbed by tumor cells and, when exposed to light, become active and kill the tumor cells. Knowing the level of oxygen in tumor tissue and the level of motexafin lutetium absorbed by tumors and normal tissue may help predict the effectiveness of anticancer therapy

NCT ID: NCT00042952 Terminated - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Germ Cell Tumor

Imatinib Mesylate in Treating Patients With Progressive, Refractory, or Recurrent Stage II or Stage III Testicular or Ovarian Cancer

Start date: June 2002
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Imatinib mesylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth. Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of imatinib mesylate in treating patients who have progressive, refractory, or recurrent stage II or stage III testicular cancer or stage II or stage III ovarian cancer following cisplatin-based chemotherapy
