NCT ID: NCT04586751 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

The Impact of Pecs Blocks on Postmastectomy Pain Syndrome

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present study is to investigate the incidence of chronic pain following breast cancer surgery in Cyprus, discover its associated risk factors and explore the impact of Pecs Blocks on the appearance of post mastectomy chronic pain symptoms

NCT ID: NCT04377360 Completed - Clinical trials for Soft Tissue Tumor, Malignant

Feasibility Trial of Diffusing Alpha-emitter Radiation Therapy (DaRT) for Malignant Skin & Superficial Soft Tissue Tumors

Start date: January 6, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-institution pilot feasibility trial in which 10 subjects will be enrolled. The primary objectives are is to explore the feasibility of delivering radiotherapy for malignant skin and superficial soft tissue tumors using DaRT (Alpha Tau Medical, Tel Aviv, Israel), a form of interstitial brachytherapy which uses a novel radioisotope delivery system, as well as to determine the frequency and severity of acute adverse events. Secondary objectives will include assessments of radiotherapy-related adverse events, tumor response, radiation safety, stability of device placement, and associations with quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT04300179 Completed - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Ewing Sarcoma Family of Tumors (ESFT): A 15-year Experience From a Tertiary Care Cancer Center in Upper Egypt

Start date: July 7, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to identify demographic & disease characteristics in pediatric oncology patients diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Family of Tumors (ESFT) & treatment outcomes in these patients.

NCT ID: NCT03804762 Completed - Clinical trials for Gastric Soft Tissue Neoplasm

A New Method: the Third Space Robotic and Endoscopic Cooperative Surgery (TS-RECS)

Start date: April 5, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The third space robotic and endoscopic cooperative surgery (TS-RECS) combines the endoscopic techniques and the merits of Da Vinci surgical robot, such as flexible and precise instruments, tremors filtering system and a 3-D surgical view. TS-RECS takes full advantage of the methodology of the third space, making it possible to dissect gastric GISTs (gastrointestinal stromal tumors) entirely without the damage of mucosal layer. Here, this study preliminarily assessed the feasibility, safety and effectivity of the novel hybrid operation.

NCT ID: NCT03452644 Completed - Soft Tissue Sarcoma Clinical Trials

US-Guided Biopsy in the Diagnosis of Musculoskeletal Soft-Tissue Tumors

Start date: September 20, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

A retrospective evaluation of soft tissue tumors that have undergone core needle biopsy with US guidance (US-CNB)

NCT ID: NCT03159585 Completed - Solid Tumor Clinical Trials

To Evaluate the Efficacy of NY-ESO-1-specific T Cell Receptor Affinity Enhancing Specific T Cell in Solid Tumors

Start date: April 14, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this trial is to investigate the safety and tolerability of TAEST16001(TCR Affinity Enhancing Specific T cell Therapy)in the multi-line treatment failed advanced solid tumors except non small cell lung cancer, including liver cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, bone and soft tissue tumors, breast cancer, bladder carcinoma, prostate carcinoma, thyroid cancer, ovarian cancer and so on. The patients must meet the two criteria: human leukocyte antigens (HLA)-A*0201+ and NY-ESO-1 positive cells≥25% by immunohistochemistry.

NCT ID: NCT02557243 Completed - Bone Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Malignant Pediatric Soft Tissue & Bone Tumors of the Extremities: A Retrospective Study

Start date: January 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to identify demographic & disease characteristics in pediatric oncology patients diagnosed with soft tissue & bone tumors involving the extremities & treatment outcomes in these patients.

NCT ID: NCT02066675 Completed - Clinical trials for Standard Chemotherapy

Trabectedin First Line Therapy In Unfit Sarcoma Study

TR1US
Start date: February 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Phase II, non-randomized, two-stage study according to Bryant & Day The study enroll patients with Metastatic and locally advanced soft tissue sarcoma unfit to receive standard chemotherapy (doxorubicin/epirubicin and/or ifosfamide)

NCT ID: NCT01731379 Completed - Clinical trials for Colon Rectal Cancer Tubulovillous Adenocarcinoma

Optical Detection of Peripheral Nerve Bundles During Surgery

NerveSpect
Start date: December 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Investigation of application possibilities of optical spectroscopy within the field of surgical resection procedures to spare nerve tissue. Optical spectroscopy enables the possibility to specifically differentiate between different (human) tissues. The hypothesis is that incorporation of this technique into existing medical devices (e.g. medical blade) would enlarge the accuracy and reliability of these devices. Sparing of nerve bundles during surgery can lead to decreased postoperative morbidity rates.

NCT ID: NCT01630239 Completed - Soft Tissue Tumors Clinical Trials

MR-Guided Laser Ablation of Hepatic Tumors

Start date: June 2012
Phase: Phase 0
Study type: Interventional

This is a pilot study to investigate the performance of MR-guided Laser Induced Thermal Therapy (LITT) in the treatment of liver tumors.
