NCT ID: NCT06171542 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Shoulder Osteoarthritis

Efficacy of a Single Image Guided Injection of CTM for Glenohumeral Arthritis

HC22-1
Start date: December 22, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

CTM Biomedical markets and distributes decellularized particulate human placental connective-tissue matrix products, intended solely for homologous use to supplement or replace damaged or inadequate connective-tissue. These are structural tissue allografts processed according to the criteria contained in 21CFR 1271.10(a) for regulation solely under section 361 of the Public Health Service Act. The goal of this study is to determine the success rate of a single, image guided glenohumeral CTM injection (for radiographically confirmed glenohumeral osteoarthritis at follow up intervals of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months. This will be measured using the Likert Pain Scale (LPS) and Oxford Shoulder Score (OSS). Secondary goals are to identify if certain demographic or imaging factors exist that predict early symptom recurrence requiring additional intervention, defined as a second connective tissue matrix injection, a subsequent corticosteroid injection, or arthroplasty.

NCT ID: NCT05128500 Active, not recruiting - Psoriatic Arthritis Clinical Trials

Follow-up Evaluating Clinical and Radiological Outcomes of Total Shoulder Arthroplasty With Permedica's MIRAI Prosthesis

Start date: July 12, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This observational study is conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the primary total shoulder arthroplasty with the Permedica's MIRAI Modular Shoulder Prosthesis System on the general population of patients who are about to undergo this surgery for every indication. Patients requiring a revision shoulder arthroplasty will not be enrolled. The effectiveness will be evaluated in terms of recovery of shoulder function and stability of the prosthetic implant. The incidence of complications, adverse and serious adverse events will also be studied. Additional study aim is to evaluate a medium/long term survival of the prosthesis. The duration of the study per single subject is 5 years.

NCT ID: NCT04405297 Active, not recruiting - Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Trials

A Disease-based Treatment Study for Diagnosed Osteoarthritis Utilizing Adipose-derived Regenerative Cells

Start date: May 24, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a prospective, multi-location safety and effectiveness study, and data registry of autologous adult ADRCs generated by the Transpose® RT System in subjects with OA in the shoulder, wrist, knee, hip, or ankle.

NCT ID: NCT03877315 Active, not recruiting - Shoulder Pain Clinical Trials

Patient Reported Outcome After Stemmed Versus Stemless Total Shoulder Arthroplasty for Glenohumeral Osteoarthritis.

Start date: August 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Stemless shoulder arthroplasty systems with uncemented metaphyseal fixation have been used in Europe for glenohumeral osteoarthritis since 2004. The stemless design has several theoretical advantages compared with the stemmed shoulder arthroplasty systems: restoring patients' anatomy, preserving humeral bone stock, and few complications in component removal if the need for a revision arthroplasty arises. The purpose of the study is to compare the short-term, patient-reported outcome of stemless and stemmed total shoulder arthroplasty.
