Validity and Reliability of Pressure Pain Threshold Assessment in Patients With Elbow Pain
Although validity and reliability studies have been completed in different patient groups in the literature, the validity and reliability of pressure pain threshold assessment in patients with elbow pain has not been studied. This study aims to study the validity and reliability of pressure pain threshold assessment in patients with elbow pain.

Ultrasound-guided Percutaneous Neuromodulation in Patients With Lateral Epicondylalgia: a Pilot Randomized Clinical Trial
Lateral epicondylitis (LE), also known as tennis elbow, refers to a painful condition at or around the lateral epicondyle of the humerus and common extensor tendon (CET) that is aggravated by dorsiflexion and/or supination of the wrist against resistance. Lateral epicondylitis is one of the most common injuries of the elbow, affecting 1-3% of the population. Therefore, determining an effective intervention that helps manage the condition and lessens the financial burden is important. Passive physical modalities, including electrotherapy and orthotic devices, are common treatments for the management of elbow pain. Passive physical modalities are physical treatments involving a device that does not require active participation by the patient. In a systematic review, 2017, Dion et al examined the effectiveness of passive physical modalities for the treatment of soft tissue injuries of the elbow, but little evidence exists to support or refute their use. Clinically, an invasive technique has appeared, known as Ultrasound-guided Percutaneous Neuromodulation (PNM). This minimally invasive intervention consists in the applicacion of a percutaneous electrical stimulation (PES) through an acupuncture needle-like electrode that is placed in close proximity to the nerve or motor point of the muscle with ultrasound guidance. At the clinical level, the PES is always used with the therapeutic aim of relieving chronic pain and neuropathic pain. Similarly, in sports, PES is used with the aim of improving muscular activity. Therefore, according to the characteristics and the therapeutic benefits of this technique, further research is needed to discover multiple clinical indications. The aim of this pilot study was to examine the effects of a percutaneous neuromodulation intervention in patients with unilateral refractory lateral epicondylitis. Findings from this study may provide further evidence for the relevance of neural tissues in determining the elbow pain and may indicate effects of US-guided NMP technique on the rehabilitation and/or prevention of in patients with unilateral refractory LE.

Role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Evaluation of Non-traumatic Causes of Painful Elbow Joint
• Elbow pain is any type of pain that comes from structures in the elbow joint and/or in structures adjacent to the elbow joint. elbow is a complex joint; it allows to both extension and flexion, as well as rotation hand and forearm. Since most movements are a combination of these actions, Elbow pain is often caused by overuse, but in general, elbow joint is much less prone to wear-and-tear damage than are many other joints. The causes of elbow pain are numerous. Most elbow pain is due to overuse or strain on the elbow joint components, but some causes are due to trauma, infection, and/or autoimmune processes and neoplasm. Risk factors for elbow pain are numerous and range from engaging in repetitive activities and participation in sports to those associated with infection, trauma, and rheumatoid arthritis. Other adjacent structures associated with elbow pain include the shoulder, upper arm, forearm, and wrist and hand joints.

A Randomized Double-blind Study to Assess the Use of TDP© Heat-lamp as an Effective Therapy for Tennis Elbow Pain (Lateral Epicondylitis Pain)
Tennis elbow (Lateral epicondylitis) is a common condition seen in Family Medicine that gives rise to pain, and can lead to loss of function and time off work. The normal treatment for tennis elbow pain is oral pain relief medication (analgesia), and/or physiotherapy, local massage or even surgery. In mainland China, tennis elbow pain has also been treated using TDP © Heat-lamp therapy, and is considered to be an effective treatment for this condition. This study is a clinical trial that seeks to measure the effectiveness of the TDP © Heat-lamp therapy to relieve tennis elbow pain without the use of oral pain medication.

EFECTIVIDAD DE LA TERAPIA EN ESPEJO EN EL DOLOR POSTPUNCIÓN DE PUNTOS GATILLO MIOFASCIALES [EFFECTIVENESS OF MIRROR THERAPY ON POST-PUNCTURE PAIN OF MYOFASCIAL TRIGGER POINTS]
The goal of this randomized, controlled pilot trial is to investigate the immediate effects of incorporating Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy (MFT) on pain sensitivity and motor performance in individuals experiencing Post-needling pain associated with lateral elbow pain. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does incorporating Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy reduce Post-needling pain intensity? - Does incorporating Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy improve pressure pain threshold? - Does incorporating Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy improve maximum grip strenght? Participants will be asked to undergo pre- and post-treatment evaluations, which include assessments of Post-needling pain intensity, pressure pain threshold, two-point discrimination threshold, and maximum hand grip strength. Participants in the Experimental Group will receive Deep Dry Needling in the m. Brachioradialis, Ischemic Compression, Cold Spray, Stretching, and Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy. Those in the Control Group will not receive Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy. Researchers will compare the Experimental Group to the Control Group to see if the incorporation of Mirror Visual Feedback Therapy results in a reduction in Post-needling pain intensity and improvement in pressure pain threshold.
