Filter by:The epoetin is a glycoprotein and endogenous hormone, which is primarily synthesized by specific epithelial cells lining the kidney peritubular capillaries, and regulates continuous formation of red blood cells. This is a pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics study, in which each subject will receive the investigational product in different periods, as randomisation (Teste or Comparator). The evaluation of the profile included serum dosage of medications and reticulocyte count in peripheral blood.
Ascertain the starting dose of Mircera given subcutaneously for the maintenance treatment of anemia in pediatric participants with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis or not yet on dialysis when switching from stable subcutaneous (SC) maintenance treatment with epoetin alfa, epoetin beta, or darbepoetin alfa.
A study to look at the effect MEDI0382 has on blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes and kidney problems and also to check that MEDI0382 is well tolerated.
The purpose of study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of a single, subcutaneous dose of JNJ-64565111 in adult participants with varying degrees of renal function including participants with end stage renal disease, requiring hemodialysis, compared with participants with normal renal function.
The purpose of the study is to determine whether lanabecestat can be safely prescribed in participants with kidney impairment without a dose adjustment. Participants will be on study for up to 6 weeks; this includes a 2-week screening and a follow-up about 10 days after final drug administration.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of molidustat in comparison to darbepoetin alfa in dialysis subjects with renal anemia who are treated with Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents (ESAs).
This is a Phase 1, open-label, multi-center, single treatment study in subjects with normal renal function and varying degrees of renal impairment.
Elevated level of troponin is frequently observed among patients with renal dysfunction. Increase in troponin after cardiac surgery may predict postoperative outcome in cardiac surgery patients. However, the relationship between the increased troponin and outcome after cardiac surgery has not been fully elucidated in patients with renal dysfunction.
Endexo™ is an additive that is blended into the fiber solution during manufacturing of the hemodialyzer hollow fibers. The intended purpose of the additive is to increase blood compatibility in the finished dialyzer, which is referred to as the "dialyzer with Endexo."
Renal failure and high plasmatic level of urea have been associated with an increased risk of hemorrhage in surgical patients. There is only sparse data on the impact of renal replacement therapy on homeostatic parameters. The aim of this study is to describe potential changes in homeostatic parameters before and after renal replacement therapy.
