NCT ID: NCT05428579 Completed - Clinical trials for Surgical Procedure, Unspecified

Status of Surgical Resection and Histologic Subtype as Predictors of Local Recurrence in Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma

Start date: October 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Soft tissue sarcomas are rare malignant tumors. Liposarcoma constitute the most frequent histological subtype of retroperitoneal sarcoma. The prognosis of soft tissue sarcomas depend on clinical and histologic characteristics. Objective: Evaluate variables that may be related to overall survival and local recurrence free survival in patients with retroperitoneal liposarcoma. Methods: retrospective analysis of medical records of 60 patients attended from 1997 to 2017, who underwent surgical resection of retroperitoneal liposarcoma.

NCT ID: NCT05424029 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Extracellular Vesicles and Particles (EVP) as Biomarkers of Recurrence in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: June 14, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to find out if fluid rinsed from peoples' airways (bronchial washing samples) during routine surgery to remove (resect) their non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tumors contains enough vesicles to do testing that may help the researchers learn more about their NSCLC.

NCT ID: NCT05419817 Withdrawn - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

Pembrolizumab With Sitravatinib in Recurrent Endometrial Cancer and Other Solid Tumors With Deficient Mismatch Repair System

Start date: September 8, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a study of pembrolizumab in combination with sitravatinib in adult women with recurrent endometrial cancer or other solid tumors with deficient mismatch repair system. All patients enrolled will receive pembrolizumab as standard of care combined with Sitravatinib, which will be self-administered orally daily.

NCT ID: NCT05418088 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Genetically Engineered Cells (Anti-CD19/CD20/CD22 CAR T-cells) for the Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory Lymphoid Malignancies

Start date: June 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects and best infusion dose of genetically engineered cells called anti-CD19/CD20/CD22 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells following a short course of chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide and fludarabine in treating patients with lymphoid cancers (malignancies) that have come back (recurrent) or do not respond to treatment (refractory). Lymphoid malignancies eligible for this trial are: non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and B-prolymphocytic leukemia (B-PLL). T-cells (a type of white blood cell) form part of the body's immune system. CAR-T is a type of cell therapy that is used with gene-based therapies. CAR T-cells are made by taking a patient's own T-cells and genetically modifying them with a virus so that they are recognized by a group of proteins called CD19/CD20/CD22 which are found on the surface of cancer cells. Anti-CD19/CD20/CD22 CAR T-cells can recognize CD19/CD20/CD22, bind to the cancer cells and kill them. Giving combination chemotherapy helps prepare the body before CAR T-cell therapy. Giving CAR-T after cyclophosphamide and fludarabine may kill more tumor cells.

NCT ID: NCT05415475 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Clinical Study of CEA-targeted CAR-T Therapy for CEA-positive Advanced Malignant Solid Tumors

Start date: September 10, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial is an open-label, single-arm clinical study. The main purpose is to verify the safety and efficacy of CAR-T cell preparations in the treatment of CEA-positive advanced malignant tumors, and to obtain the recommended dose and infusion scheme of CAR-T cell preparations for the treatment of patients with CEA-positive advanced malignant tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05413317 Completed - Pulmonary Embolism Clinical Trials

Contribution of Lower Limb Venous Colour Doppler Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Pulmonary Embolism Recurrence

RECHOPE
Start date: March 4, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Venous thromboembolic disease is a clinical entity including pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). It is a chronic disease with 30% recurrence rate at 10 years. In patients with recurrent PE clinical suspicion, an objective and accurate diagnostic method/strategy is warranted to exclude or confirm a PE new episode diagnosis and to decide on treatment initiation. Recurrent PE diagnosis raises several issues related to the limitations of clinical scores, D-dimer testing, and diagnostic imaging used for a first episode diagnosis. Most importantly, residual obstruction on chest imaging reported in more than 50% of cases at 6 months can make it difficult to distinguish between an old and a new thrombosis in the absence of possible comparison with a previous imaging carried out under the same modalities. There are currently few recommendations about the diagnostic strategy for patients with a recurrent PE clinical suspicion and these recommendations are not very consistent due to the lack of a validated strategy. None of current guidelines have included imaging-detectable lower-limb DVT within the strategies despite a reported high prevalence of PE-associated DVT. In one study using venography, 82% (95% CI 76.5 - 86.9) of angiographically-proven PE patients had an associated proximal or distal deep vein thrombosis, of which 42% were asymptomatic. In another study using lower-limb venous ultrasound, a proximal or distal DVT was detected in 93% (95% CI 85-97) of patients with PE.

NCT ID: NCT05410301 Withdrawn - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A prospective, open label, single-center, early feasibility trial will be conducted to assess the safety and feasibility of a home-based Static Magnetic and Electric (sBE) device applied for 8 hours/day during sleep in adult participants with recurrent glioblastoma (rGBM) at their first relapse.

NCT ID: NCT05410028 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

New Serum Biomarkers for Monitoring Early Diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer Recurrence

Start date: March 3, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, mass spectrometry was used to analyze immune inflammation-related protein complexes, post-translational modified glycopeptide omics and tumor-related metabolomics in serum, respectively, in order to find potential metabolic small molecule biomarkers or marker profiles that can be used for early diagnosis of cancer recurrence.
