Filter by:The purpose of the study is to determine the efficacy and safety of two different forms of a topical steroid (clobetasol propionate) in patients with plaque-type psoriasis.
This study will assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ACT-128800 in subjects with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
The general aim of the trial is to determine the safety, tolerability and pharmacologic profile of single escalating doses of AbGn-168 administered subcutaneously or intravenously to patients with chronic plaque psoriasis
The purpose of the study is to compare the anti-psoriatic effect of marketed products with Daivobet® ointment in a plaque test
Ultra-violet light B (UVB) therapy has been used by dermatologists to treat psoriasis for decades. Only a few studies have begun to dissect the mechanism of how NB-UVB therapy causes lesion resolution. Results from this study will aid in identifying other diseases that may be treated successfully with NB-UVB. If we can identify the mechanism of action of this therapy, this may give us additional new therapeutic targets for psoriasis and other diseases. Our overall hypothesis is that UVB induces changes that will indicate a mechanism of action of this therapy in psoriasis.
The purpose of the study is to compare the efficacy and safety of Clobetasol propionate to that of its Vehicle in the treatment of mild to moderate plaque-type psoriasis.
Interdigital psoriasis (psoriasis alba) is atypical and rare form of psoriasis that is often missed as it is commonly mistaken for either dermatoses or fungal infection. In this study we observed and analyzed the prevalence of psoriasis interdigital of palms and soles and brought medical awareness to dermatologists and family doctors this rare form of psoriasis. Thus, you can help to avoid mistaken diagnosis and the start of correct treatment as soon as possible.
To describe the response of etanercept after adalimumab has failed to produce a satisfactory response in moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. A total of 10 patients with moderate to severe psoriasis who are currently using adalimumab for at least 12 weeks but have a PGA of mild or worse will be transitioned to etanercept 50 mg twice weekly (BIW) for 12 wks followed by a dose reduction to 50mg once weekly (OW) for an additional 12 weeks.
Participants from an ongoing observational study (P05319) who have a limited (adequate but less than optimal) response to infliximab will be randomized to either increase the frequency of infliximab infusions from every 8 weeks to every 6 weeks, or to add weekly methotrexate to their current treatment plan. While receiving infliximab study treatment(s), patients in this study will attend regularly scheduled office visits for various clinical tests for safety and effectiveness evaluations.
The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and efficacy of an injectable biologic and U0279 as combination therapy compared to that of an injectable biologic alone for severe plaque-type psoriasis.
