IRFARPC is a multicenter national registry designed to study the diagnosis and predisposing factors of subjects with an inherited increased risk for pancreatic cancer.
This study is a single-arm clinical trial of irreversible electroporation (IRE) for the treatment of unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC). The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of IRE in this patient group. A statistical analysis of patient survival will be performed, comparing study participants to historical data from the Danish national database of pancreatic cancer patients.
Forty patients with pancreatic cancer, sarcoma and carcinoma of breast will receive DeltaRex-G intravenously at a dose of 1-4 x 10e11 colony forming units (cfu) or equivalent 0.6-1.8 x 10e10 RV copies per dose one to three times a week. DeltaRex-G may be given alone or with one or more FDA approved cancer therapies/immunotherapies. Based on previous Phase 1/2 US based clinical studies, DeltaRex-G does not suppress the bone marrow or cause serious organ dysfunction, and enhanced immune cell trafficking in tumors may cause the tumors to appear larger or new lesions to appear on CT, PET or MRI. Further, tumor stabilization/regression/remission may occur later during the treatment period. Therefore, DeltaRex-G will be continued regardless of CT, PET or MRI results if the patient has clinical benefit and does not have symptomatic disease progression.
This phase II study investigates the efficacy of IORT for patients with borderline resectable pancreatic cancer. The purpose of the study is to investigate whether the addition of IORT, after FOLOFIRINOX-base chemotherapy, and SBRT, increases the 3-year survival rate. A total of 101 patients will be enrolled, and these patients will receive IORT of 10 to 20 Gy, according to the resection status (to the tumor bed after resection, or to the tumor in situ in case of non-resection).
This is a prospective, multicentre randomised, phase II clinical trial, with randomisation 2:1 by minimisation and stratification by tumour stage, planned chemotherapy and institution.
The drug for this submission is Hope Biosciences' allogeneic, first blood relative, adipose-derived culture-expanded mesenchymal stem cells (HB-adMSCs) for the treatment of a single patient with Pancreatic Cancer (PC). PC is an extremely infiltrative neoplasm that usually presents with vascular and perineural invasion in surgically resected tumors. Metastases to lymph nodes, liver and distant sites are all very common. Its incidence has markedly increased over the past several decades and ranks as the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Despite the high mortality rate associated with pancreatic cancer, its etiology is poorly understood. PC patients experience physiological symptoms such as anemia, ascites, severe fatigue, pain, cachexia, weakness, insomnia, confusion, and memory loss. The aggressive nature of PC leads to rapid deterioration of patients' quality of life and diminished ability to participate in treatment.
This is a randomized trial to evaluate and directly compare the tissue quality, diagnostic sucess and safety profile of four different Fine Needle Biopsy needles.
Although FOLFIRINOX regimen was recently presented to be effective as adjuvant chemotherapy for resectable pancreatic cancer in selected patients who have good physical condition, there is still insufficient evidence on this regimen in treating resectable pancreatic cancer patients in China. Since for many tumors, different races may show different responses to the same regimen, we design this open phase Ⅱ study to evaluate the the efficacy and safety of mFOLFIRINOX as adjuvant chemotherapy for resectable pancreatic cancer in China.
This is an adaptive design study. During the first phase of the study, participants will be randomized in 2:1 ratio to receive either MNTX 450 milligrams (mg) once daily (QD) or placebo. An interim analysis will be performed for futility and at that point a higher dosage regimen may be utilized for the active treatment group if the futility criteria are met. For the second stage of the study, interim analyses will be conducted for futility and sample size reassessment.
