REAL-LU
Start date: March 9, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a multicentre long-term non-interventional study of adult subjects diagnosed with unresectable or metastatic, progressive, well differentiated (G1 and G2), somatostatin receptor positive GEP-NETs who have been prescribed Lutathera® in standard clinical practice.

Modified FOLFIRINOX Alternated With Biweekly Gemcitabine Plus Nab-Paclitaxel Untreated Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: January 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of the clinical trial is to determine if modified FOLFIRINOX (mFFX) alternated with biweekly Gemcitabine plus Nab-Paclitaxel (mGnabP) administered as a combined, front-line therapy will result in longer time to treatment failure (TTF) compared to the current standard of care with mFFX alone in treatment-naive patients with metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

NCT ID: NCT04659603 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Metastatic

Tusamitamab Ravtansine Monotherapy and in Combination in Patients With CEACAM5-positive Advanced Solid Tumors

CARMEN-BT01
Start date: March 29, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Primary Objective: - For Cohort A, Cohort B, and Cohort C Part 2: To assess the antitumor activity of tusamitamab ravtansine in metastatic breast cancer (mBC) and tusamitamab ravtansine monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine in metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma (mPAC) - For Cohort C Part 1: Confirmation of the recommended tusamitamab ravtansine dose when administered in combination with gemcitabine Secondary Objectives: - To assess the safety and tolerability of tusamitamab ravtansine administered as monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine - To assess other efficacy parameters of tusamitamab ravtansine administered as monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine - To assess the immunogenicity of tusamitamab ravtansine - To assess the pharmacokinetics (PK) of tusamitamab ravtansine and gemcitabine when given in combination

NCT ID: NCT04634539 Active, not recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Trial of First-line L-glutamine With Gemcitabine and Nab-paclitaxel in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: May 13, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will enroll a total of 16 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. All subjects will receive combination therapy of gemcitabine, nab-paclitaxel, and L-glutamine. The study investigates what the appropriate dosage of L-glutamine is so that there is the lowest risk of side effects, and whether the supplement will make standard chemotherapy of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel more effective in treating advanced pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04631445 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Study Evaluating the Ketogenic Diet in Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: December 2, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the effects of the ketogenic diet in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer while receiving chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT04616534 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Testing the Addition of an Anti-cancer Drug, Elimusertib (BAY 1895344) ATR Inhibitor, to the Chemotherapy Treatment (Gemcitabine) for Advanced Pancreatic and Ovarian Cancer, and Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: June 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial identifies the best dose, possible benefits and/or side effects of gemcitabine in combination with elimusertib (BAY 1895344) in treating patients with pancreatic, ovarian, and other solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body (advanced). Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cell from making DNA and may kill tumor cells. elimusertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving gemcitabine and elimusertib in combination may shrink or stabilize cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04602026 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Solid Neoplasm

The RIOT Trial: Re-Defining Frailty and Improving Outcomes With Prehabilitation for Pancreatic, Liver, or Gastric Cancer

RIOT
Start date: September 14, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial studies how well a prehabilitation program works to improve patient outcomes after surgery compared to the normal standard of care prehabilitation in frail patients undergoing surgery for pancreatic, liver, or gastric cancer. Frailty is defined as the pathophysiology of aging or through the accumulation of physiologic and functional deficits. Prehabilitation programs seek to optimize the medical and physical state of patients prior to undergoing surgery with the goal of improving outcomes following surgery. Despite evidence for its importance in health outcomes for frail patients, prehabilitation programs have not been well studied in cancer surgery populations. This trial may provide researchers with more information on how to improve patient outcomes after cancer surgery through the use of prehabilitation programs.

NCT ID: NCT04592393 Active, not recruiting - Pancreas Cancer Clinical Trials

Pancreas Cancer Surveillance Using an Abbreviated MRI

Start date: October 28, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to establish a prospective cohort of developing pancreas cancer and surveillance MRI protocol. With the focused surveillance protocol, we perform surveillance for pancreas cancer for five years to estimate the risk of pancreas cancer and the clinical feasibility of the surveillance MRI.

NCT ID: NCT04589234 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Saltikva for Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: October 20, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Objectives: Assess the efficacy of multiple dose oral administration of Saltikva, an attenuated strain of Salmonella Typhimurium expressing IL-2, in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer on standard chemotherapy (either FOLFIRINOX or Gemcitabine/Abraxane and Saltikva). Study Rationale: The addition of Saltikva to the standard of care regimen for Stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer will significantly prolong the overall survival and prolong the time to disease progression. Patient Population: unresectable, metastatic pancreatic cancer patients 18 years of age or older

NCT ID: NCT04560712 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Resectable Pancreatic Carcinoma

Acupuncture for the Management of Postoperative Pain in Patients With Pancreatic or Colorectal Cancer Undergoing Surgery

Start date: August 12, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial investigates how well acupuncture works for the management of pain after surgery in patients having open colorectal or pancreatic surgery. Acupuncture may help to reduce postoperative symptoms including pain. This study may help researchers learn if acupuncture reduces after-surgery side effects and improves recovery.
