Multimodal Imaging in Rectal Cancer & Pancreatic Cancer

MIRCA & MIPAC
Start date: May 2, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Most digestive cancers show (over)expression of the tumour marker carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Therefore, interest in CEA-targeting tracers has increased over the past years. CEA-targeting tracers can be used for preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative imaging purposes. This study focusses on both preoperative and intraoperative multimodal imaging and image-guided surgery in patients with rectal cancer or pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06391892 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Liquid Biopsy (ctDNA) Guided Treatment in Localized Pancreatic Cancer: Neoadjuvant CTX vs. Upfront Surgery

LIQUIPANC
Start date: January 11, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the clinical prognostic impact (on DFS and OS) of liquid biopsy guided treatment vs. standard of care (physicians choice) in localized pancreatic cancer (despite because of CA 19-9 levels and computed tomography, upfront surgery is recommended by tumor board). ctDNA positive patients will receive neoadjvuant chemotherapy at current gold standard physicians choice instead of upfront surgery, because of assumed high biological risk for early recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT06389760 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Single-arm Study of Nimotuzumab Combined With mFOLFIRNIOX as Postoperative Adjuvant Therapy in Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: October 18, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm, phase II trial. The main purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Nimotuzumab combined with mFOLFIRINOX for postoperative adjuvant treatment of pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06388967 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Pancreatic Cancer Detection Consortium

PCDC
Start date: March 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to prospective validate an exosome-based miRNA signature for noninvasive and early detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT06387342 Not yet recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Namodenoson Treatment of Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: July 15, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label trial in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. The trial will evaluate the safety, clinical activity, and pharmacokinetics of the study drug, namodenoson, in this group of patients.

NCT ID: NCT06384417 Not yet recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Using an End-of-life Conversation Game to Engage Patients With Cancer in Advance Care Planning: Phase 2

Start date: June 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to explore feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of end-of-life conversation game "Hello" as a tool to help individuals with various solid cancer types (including: breast, gastro-intestinal, lung, melanoma, head and neck, and/or genito-urinary cancers) treated at Penn State Health clinics and their loved ones perform advance care planning (ACP). The main questions it aims to answer are: What modifications and/or adaptations are necessary to Hello for use in cancer populations? What impact does participation in Hello event have on health care usage (e.g., number of hospitalizations, ICU admissions, emergency department visits, etc.)? How feasible is it to randomize participants to play either Hello for Cancer or Table Topics? Participants will: - Complete pre-game questionnaires - Play either Hello or Table Topics game - Complete post-game questionnaires - Participate in a focus group - Complete a telephone follow up interview 1-4 months after their event This study is a continuation of NCT06028152.

NCT ID: NCT06378853 Completed - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Risk Factors of Postoperative Complications and Survival Rate in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Patients

Start date: January 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

By evaluating the nutritional status of patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) admitted to Jinling Hospital, collecting relevant clinical data. we aim to conduct correlation analysis with patient clinical information, such as survival time, hospitalization time, nutritional status, hematological indicators, etc., in order to reveal the prognostic factors for overall survival and postoperative complications of PDAC patients.

NCT ID: NCT06378580 Completed - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

The Prognostic Impact of Surufatinib for the Treatment of Advanced Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Start date: July 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive tumor with a poor prognosis, despite the emergence of chemotherapies, unmet medical needs and limited treatment options still exist for patients with metastatic PDAC (mPDAC). Surufatinib is a small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGFR) 1, 2, 3, fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1), and colony stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R), and ex vivo experiments have demonstrated its effect on PC models. A retrospective analysis of patients with PDAC who underwent surufatinib at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital (Hangzhou,China) from July 2022 to July 2023.The database was extracted from the preoperative demographics, blood markers, and surgical pathology information of patients undergoing surufatinib in the investigators' hospital.

NCT ID: NCT06378047 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Irreversible Electroporation & Pembro Immunotherapy in Locally Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: April 10, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to determine the safety and tolerability of combining sequential therapy of Irreversible Electroporation (IRE) and Immunotherapy (IO) for patients with locally advanced unresectable pancreas cancer following first-line treatment with chemotherapy and ablative stereotactic magnetic resonance image-guided adaptive radiation therapy (A-SMART).
