Filter by:Baseline self-report outcome measures will be completed and additional assessments will occur mid-treatment , post-treatment , 3 months following completion of all sessions, and 6 months following completion of all sessions. Patients and therapists will complete the evaluation measures in private (at home, in an office). At the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, BBI treatment is offered in group and individual formats. The course of individual treatment varies and group treatment consists of 10 1.5-hour weekly sessions in the "intensive" phase, followed by 2 1.5-hour bi-weekly maintenance sessions. Individual treatment is one-on-one. In group treatment, there are typically 6-12 patients per group and 1 or 2 therapists. The intervention helps patients to learn adaptive coping strategies and how to apply them to daily stressors. Additional content discusses use of seeking information, enhancing social support, enhancing body esteem and intimacy, and maintaining positive changes.
This is a randomized pilot trial to test the addition of 2 investigational agents, Montanide and poly-ICLC (a TLR3 agonist) to a backbone of autologous oxidized tumor cell lysate vaccine (OC-L) administered with GMCSF in subjects with primary epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.

The purpose of this study is to find out if the combination of Paclitaxel once per week with Pembrolizumab once every 3 weeks will help participants with this disease. Researchers want to find out the effectiveness of the drug combination to improve the delay of cancer progression or death and compare it to historical data for weekly paclitaxel alone, and assess safety.
Initially, the prospect of metformin as a neoplastic treatment was considered for malignancies of the prostate, colon and pancreas. However, only select clinical studies involving the use of metformin in the treatment of ovarian cancer have documented improved survival rates. Since no first line regimen has demonstrated compelling superiority in the management of advanced stage ovarian carcinoma, the combination of paclitaxel, carboplatin, and metformin is of particular interest given the triplet's prospect for achieving increased synergy without compromising patient tolerability.
The study objective is to investigate the efficacy and safety of p53 combined with chemotherapy (cisplatin and paclitaxel) in treatment of recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer, Fallopian Tube Cancer, and Primary Peritoneal Cancer.

This study will evaluate the immunologic and potential clinical effectiveness of intensive locoregional sequential intraperitoneal (IP) cisplatin (IPC) with intravenous (iv) paclitaxel followed by peritoneal infusion of a chemokine modulatory (CKM) regimen composed of a cocktail of IP rintatolimod and interferon-alpha (IFNα) for patients with advanced stage ovarian cancer (III-IV) at primary neoadjuvant setting. In the safety phase I phase, we determined the tolerable dose of IPC-CKM. In this phase 2 we will add intradermal (ID) autologous αDC1 vaccines (known to be nontoxic) to the tolerable IPC-CKM regimen. The effectiveness will be determined by rate of complete pathologic response.
This is an ongoing Phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter, non-randomized study of MEDI4736 (durvalumab) in subjects with recurrent, platinum-resistant ovarian cancer who are scheduled to receive pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD).The primary objective of Phase 1 is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and safety profile, with a secondary objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy as measured by progression-free survival (PFS) rate at 6 months (PFS-6). The primary objective of Phase 2 is the evaluation of clinical efficacy as measured by PFS-6. For both phases, secondary objectives include evaluation of clinical efficacy as measured by overall response rate, PFS, and overall survival (OS), safety and tolerability, and immunological responses.
