Filter by:This study is for patients with non-resectable, recurrent, or metastatic well or moderately differentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). The study will be conducted in two stages: 1) Safety Run-In and 2) Expanded Cohort. 1. Safety run-in: The first stage will include a safety run-in of 6 patients treated with pembrolizumab 200 mg intravenous (IV) every 3 weeks and lanreotide depot 90mg subcutaneous (SQ) every 3 weeks. Up to 6 patients at the Duke Cancer Institute will be accrued at the starting dose level. If one or less subject meets treatment-related discontinuation criteria (as specified in the protocol) during Cycle 1, then the study will proceed to the second stage, Expanded Cohort. 2. Expanded Cohort: Patients will be treated with pembrolizumab 200mg IV every 3 weeks and lanreotide depot 90mg SQ every 3 weeks as determined by the Safety Run-In Cohort.
The purpose of the safety run in Phase I portion of this study is to confirm the recommended Phase II dose of ipilimumab and nivolumab among participants treated with combined thoracic radiation therapy (30 Gy in 10 fractions) and nivolumab/ipilimumab following standard treatment with 4-6 cycles of platinum-based chemotherapy. The purpose of the Phase II portion of this study is to estimate the 6-month Progression Free Survival (PFS) rate among participants treated with ipilimumab and nivolumab with thoracic radiation therapy (30 Gy in 10 fractions) after standard treatment with 4 to 6 cycles of platinum based chemotherapy.
is an open label, randomized, multicenter phase II trial
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and PK following single and multiple ascending dose administration of VS-105 in healthy subjects and patients with chronic kidney disease stage 5D (CKD-5D) on hemodialysis.
The purpose of the study is to confirm the safety of the selected dose and potential toxicity of oncolytic poliovirus (PV) immunotherapy with PVSRIPO for pediatric patients with recurrent WHO grade III or IV malignant glioma, but evidence for efficacy will also be sought. The primary objective is to confirm the safety of the selected dose of PVSRIPO when delivered intracerebrally by convection-enhanced delivery (CED) in children with recurrent WHO Grade III malignant glioma (anaplastic astrocytoma, anaplastic oligoastrocytoma, anaplastic oligodendroglioma, anaplastic pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma) or WHO Grade IV malignant glioma (glioblastoma, gliosarcoma). A secondary objective is to estimate overall survival (OS) in this population.
The goal of this research study is to learn how frequently cancer patients in the Supportive Care Center have chronic, non-malignant pain. Chronic, non-malignant pain is pain that is neither related to cancer nor its treatment and lasts beyond the normal tissue healing time of 3 months.
This trial studies how well the drug tucatinib works when given with trastuzumab and when given by itself. The participants in this trial have HER2-positive (HER2+) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). 'Metastatic' means that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. In the first part of this study, participants enrolled into Cohort A and received both tucatinib and trastuzumab. In the second part of this study, participants are randomly assigned to either Cohort B or Cohort C. Participants in Cohort B will receive tucatinib and trastuzumab. Participants in Cohort C will receive tucatinib. Participants in Cohort C who do not respond to therapy may have an option to receive tucatinib plus trastuzumab.
The goal of this research study is to learn how useful a wearable exercise tracker watch is to monitor your physical activity. This is an investigational study. Up to 100 participants will be enrolled in this study. All will take part at MD Anderson.
The main objective of this pilot study is to evaluate whether 12 weeks of IMM-124E in children with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in combination with standard of care treatment will decrease inflammation in the liver as measured by alanine transaminase (ALT). Specifically, investigators will measure percent change in ALT from Week 0 to Week 12 in treatment compared to placebo.
This research study is evaluating a psychological intervention for caregivers of patients undergoing stem cell transplantation. Phase 1 will include a qualitative phase to refine the intervention to specifically target the needs of caregivers Phase 2 of the trial will transition to an interventional randomization clinical trial
