Patients with a history of recurrent implantation failure who are planning a frozen embryo transfer (FET) are enrolled into the program. Patients are randomized to an endometrial biopsy prior to starting estrogen to prepare for the transfer of warmed vitrified embryos or to routine care.

This study aims to identify and describe the presence of itch active molecules in psoriasis and response to treatment with apremilast. This data will be complemented by immunohistochemical data determining nerve ending density and neuropeptide concentrations before and during treatment and correlated with patient reported outcome. It is important to underscore that itch may interfere with various aspects of patient functioning, emotions and social status and should therefore be adequately addressed while treating patients with psoriasis

High Pressure Balloon vs Cutting Balloon

Patients suspected of having AV access stenosis will be referred to the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery by the dialysis center. Patients with signs of AV access failure who are found to have significant stenosis (more than 50%) at the venous end of the anastomosis will then be randomized to either high pressure balloon (Conquest) or to a cutting balloon (Boston scientific Balloon). Angiograms will then be performed before and after intervention.

ROSETTA is a multi-centre study evaluating the time course of diaphragm thickness and function following exposure to neuromuscular blockade or control in patients with acute respiratory distress. ROSETTA is an ancillary study to the Re-evaluation of Systemic Early Neuromuscular Blockade (ROSE) trial (NCT02509078). It is designed to (1) test the feasibility of a multi-center evaluation of the diaphragm structure and function by ultrasound during mechanical ventilation and (2) determine whether neuromuscular blockade accelerates atrophy and dysfunction of the diaphragm in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).

Ibrutinib With or Without Bortezomib and Dexamethasone in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Immunoglobulin Light Chain Amyloidosis

This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib with or without bortezomib and dexamethasone works in treating patients with immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis that has come back after a period of improvement or that does not respond to treatment. Ibrutinib and bortezomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ibrutinib with or without bortezomib and dexamethasone may work better in treating patients with relapsed or refractory immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis.
