Filter by:Study CKJX839B1FR01 in an In silico trial to predict the efficacy of Inclisiran therapy on major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and cardiovascular (CV) death in virtual patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and elevated LDL-C.
The goal of this study is to compare efficacy and safety of Dorzotimol eye drops, 20 mg/mL + 5 mg/mL manufactured by JADRAN-GALENSKI LABORATORIJ d.d. (Croatia) aimed at lowering elevated IOP in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) versus Cosopt® eye drops, 20 mg/mL + 5 mg/mL manufactured by Laboratoires Merck Sharp & Dohme-Chibret, France. The main questions it aims to answer are: - if the efficacy of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma is equal; - if the safety of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma is equal. A total of 110 participants were screened and randomized 1:1 to the investigational drug (Dorzotimol) group or the reference drug (Cosopt) group. 55 patients were recruited in each group. Researchers compared the investigational drug (Dorzotimol) group with the reference drug (Cosopt) group to see if the efficacy and safety of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma are equal.
The goal of this study is to compare efficacy and safety of Dorzol 20 mg/mL Eye Drops manufactured by JADRAN-GALENSKI LABORATORIJ d.d. (Croatia) aimed at lowering elevated IOP in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) versus TRUSOPT 20 MG/ML Eye Drops manufactured by Laboratoires Merck Sharp & Dohme-Chibret, France. A total of 118 participants were screened and randomized 1:1 to the investigational drug (Dorzol) group or the reference drug (Trusopt) group. 59 patients were recruited in each group. Researchers compared the investigational drug (Dorzol) group with the reference drug (Trusopt) group to see if the efficacy and safety of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma are equal.
This retrospective analysis aims to investigate pediatric patients with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia who were detected for minimal residual disease (MRD) using next-generation sequencing (NGS). The study will utilize second-generation sequencing technology to analyze the rearrangement of the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH), immunoglobulin kappa light chain (IGK), and immunoglobulin lambda light chain (IGL) genes in these patients. Patients will be stratified based on NGS-MRD levels, and the relationship between NGS-MRD and Event-Free Survival (EFS) will be evaluated.
The aim of the study is to investigate the safety and immunogenicity of the RSV/Flu-01E vaccine for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus infection in volunteers aged18 to 59 years and over 60 years.
A Randomized, Double blind, Parallel, Multi-center, Phase 3 Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of DW1125 and DW1125A in Patient with primary Hypercholesterolemia or Mixed Dyslipidemia
Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is a surgical complication defined as any nausea, and vomiting with in the first 24-48 hours after surgery in inpatients. Nausea is an unpleasant feeling or desire to vomit without expulsive muscular movement, while vomiting is a forceful expulsion or reflux of the gastric contents through the mouth. Postoperative nausea and vomiting is one of the most common complication associated anesthesia and surgery. It is considered the most common cause of morbidity, and it has significant effects on patient satisfaction. In spite of recent development of anesthesia and surgical techniques, the incidence of PONV remains high. This common anesthetic and surgical side effect has been reported to increase patient dissatisfaction and can be just as distressing to patients as postoperative pain is.
This study aims to develop a digitally assisted telemonitoring platform using the Samsung TM Galaxy Watch5 smartwatch, validating the applicability of the solution in patients with POAF (Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation), along with the accuracy of the smartwatch in detecting vital signs through optical sensors and possibly identifying irregularities in heart rhythm. The validation of its applicability will be carried out through a clinical trial. This is a randomized observational pilot study resulting from the partnership established in the base year of 2022 between InCor and Samsung. The sample consisted of 108 outpatient patients with cardiac diseases who underwent cardiac surgery and were selected during the preoperative consultation. Subsequently, the patients were randomized (1:1) into the intervention group (teleassisted group) or the control group (standard institution follow-up). The sample size was proposed by the contracting party as this is a pilot study to assess whether the implementation of a technological solution assists in monitoring and predicting the risk of surgical patients in the postoperative phase, as well as the accuracy of the Samsung TM Galaxy Watch5 smartwatch in a sample with POAF.
The goal of this Randomized, Double-Blind, Clinical Trial is to investigate the effects of scapulothoracic exercises on postural stability, muscle strength, muscular endurance, mandibular functions and proprioception in sedentary individuals aged 18-45 years with head forward posture and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular Malalignment). The main questions it aims to answer are: • Do Scapulothoracic exercises given in addition to cervical posture exercises have an effect on postural stability, proprioception, muscle strength, muscular endurance and mandibular functions in individuals with Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular malalignment? Researchers will compare conventional neck exercises (control group) and scapulothoracic exercises applied in addition to conventional neck exercises (treatment group) to see the effects of scapulothoracic exercises on the neck and jaw area.
The aim of this study is to assess in vivo the efficacy of Er,Cr:YSGG/diode laser and Diode/EDTA on bacterial count in root canal treatment in an evidence-based clinical trial. The null hypothesis being tested is that there is no difference in total bacterial count reduction between conventional irrigation and the two types of lasers used. Thirty patients are equally divided into 3 separate groups : - Group A (Conventional): 2.5% NaOCL and 17% EDTA. - Group B(Dual): saline along with Er,Cr:YSGG laser and diode laser combination - Group C(Combined): saline along with 17% EDTA and diode laser combination Microbiological analysis will be done for both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria using Colony forming units. All data will be collected, tabulated, summarized, and statistically analyzed.
