NCT ID: NCT03424629 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Moderate and Severe Plaque Psoriasis

Safety and Efficacy of UC-MSCs in Patients With Plaque Psoriasis

Start date: June 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a study in patients with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis. All the participants will be randomized into three groups, high-dose UC-MSCs, low-dose UC-MSCs, or methotrexate group. This study is designed to prove that UC-MSCs is safe and effective.

NCT ID: NCT03402464 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for EGFR Positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer,Adenocarcinoma

Icotinib Combined With Dihydroaremisinin (DHA) Therapy in Patients With Advanced NSCLC

Start date: January 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study was to evaluate the safety, PFS and ORR of icotinib/dihydroaremisinin (DHA)-based combination therapy in EGFR-mutated, advanced NSCLC patients who have gradually progressed disease after first-line icotinib treatment.

NCT ID: NCT03398577 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Disease With Diabetes Mellitus

Effects of SGLT2 Inhibitor in Diabetic Patients With Coronary Artery Disease

Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to explore the effect of newly added SGLT2I medication or placebo, to standard medication regimen in diabetic patients with documented stable coronary disease. Therefore, in the present study the investigators plan to focus on possible anti-inflammatory and athero-thrombotic protective effects of Dapagliflozin compared to placebo, in secondary prevention population of stable coronary patients with diabetes. Additionally, the investigators will explore NT proBNP dynamics, which related to ventricular filling pressures in this specific population.

NCT ID: NCT03397303 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

Quantification of Nerve Stiffness in Neuropathies

Nerf_SSI
Start date: April 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This project aims to understand how nerve mechanical properties are altered in patients with rare peripheral neuropathies . Stiffness of various peripheral nerves will be measured using ultrasound shear wave elastography. Patients will be compared with age-matched controls.

NCT ID: NCT03393130 Not yet recruiting - Critical Illness Clinical Trials

Perioperative Research Into Memory, Genomics in the Intensive Therapy Unit: Alzheimer's

PRIMoGenITA
Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The current central dogma of long-term cognitive impairment after intensive care admission suggests an underlying neuroinflammatory dysregulation affecting neuronal function. This pathological process has not been fully elucidated and there has been little research into its genetic associations. Alzheimer's disease (AD) causes cognitive impairment through a process of abnormal beta amyloid deposition and neuronal death through localised activation of the innate immune system. It is the most prevalent disease affecting cognition. The Apolipoprotein E (APOE) gene is implicated in the progression of late-onset Alzheimer's disease and is a recognised neuroinflammatory modulator. It is possible that young individuals exposed to high levels of inflammation may experience an acceleration of this process. This study sets out to look for an association between APOE-∈4 possession and poor cognitive outcome after a major burn injury and intensive care admission.

NCT ID: NCT03392792 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for All Patients With Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke Aged =18 Years of Both Sex

Regisry of the Stroke Patients in Assiut University Hospital

Start date: December 30, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

• Aim of the work To register all type of acute stroke admitted in Assiut university Hospital and assessment of their risk factor, morbidity and Mortality

NCT ID: NCT03388905 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Tachycardia-induced Cardiomyopathy

Role of the Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator in Tachycardia Induced Cardiomyopathy

Start date: January 15, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this current study is to prospectively enroll consecutive patients hospitalized with newly diagnosed severe left ventricular dysfunction (LVEF ≤ 35%) for which the likely etiology is uncontrolled atrial fibrillation or high burden of ventricular ectopy. Patients completing their established in-hospital treatment plan with rate or rhythm control, will be discharged with a WCD following informed consent and detailed counseling by healthcare personnel for a time-period of up to 3 months until reassessment of LVEF and the need for ICD implantation.

NCT ID: NCT03385811 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Intention to Stay, Turnover Behavior

Exploring ProQOL, Health Status, Job Involvement and Turnover in Medical Professionals

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The study design is a cross-sectional study. Purposive sampling will be conducted in three hospitals in the central of Taiwan. The participants will include physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses. The number of 550 participants will be recruited. The measurements are questionnaires include demographic data, professional quality of life scale (ProQOL), Job Involvement Questionnaire (JIQ), SF-36 and intention to stay questionnaire.
