Eryaspase With Modified FOLFIRINOX in Advanced Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

This will be a single-arm, multi-center, open-label phase 1 study. The standard 3+3 design will be used to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) from 4 possible dose levels of Eryaspase in combination with mFOLFIRINOX. We hypothesize that the addition of Eryaspase to FOLFIRINOX (5-fluorouracil [5-FU], leucovorin, irinotecan, and oxaliplatin) will be safe and demonstrate preliminary signs of efficacy in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. Safety assessments include adverse events, physical examination abnormalities, vital signs, and clinical laboratory tests (including blood chemistry, hematology, and coagulation panel).

Method: A single center, retrospective and observational study was used to collect COVID-19 patients admitted to Wuhan Infectious Diseases Hospital (Wuhan JinYinTan Hospital) from January 2020 to March 2020. The general information, first clinical symptoms, hospitalization days, laboratory examination, CT examination, antiviral drugs, immune enhancers, traditional Chinese medicine treatment and other clinical intervention measures were recorded, and the nutritional status and prognosis of the patients were recorded. confirm COVID-19 's disease progression, clinical characteristics, disease severity and treatment effects. Combination Immunotherapy in Subjects With Advanced HPV Associated Malignancies

Background: More than 30,000 cases of human papillomavirus (HPV) associated cancers occur annually in the United States. When these cancers spread, they do not respond well to standard treatments and are often incurable. Researchers want to see if a mix of drugs can help. Objective: To learn if a mix of immunotherapy drugs can shrink tumors in people with HPV associated cancers. Eligibility: People ages 18 and older with locally advanced or metastatic HPV associated cancer, such as cervical cancers; cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A (P16+) oropharyngeal cancers; anal cancers; vulvar, vaginal, penile, and squamous cell rectal cancers; or other locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors (e.g., lung, esophagus) that are known HPV+ cancers Design: Participants will be screened with: - medical history - disease confirmation (or tumor biopsy) - physical exam - body scans (computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and/or nuclear) - blood tests - electrocardiogram (to measure the electrical activity of the heart) - urine tests. Participants will get PDS0101 injected under the skin every 4 weeks for 6 doses. Then they will get it every 3 months for 2 doses. Participants will get M7824 (MSB0011395C) by intravenous infusion every 2 weeks. For this, a needle is inserted into a vein. The drug is given over a 1-hour period. Participants will get NHS-IL12 injected under the skin every 4 weeks. Participants will get the study drugs for up to 1 year. They will visit the NIH every 2 weeks. They will repeat the screening tests during the study. About 28 days after treatment ends, participants will have a follow-up visit or telephone call. Then they will be contacted every 3 months for 1 year, and then every 6 months after that, for the rest of their life. Patients with cervical cancer with prior pelvic radiation and boost brachytherapy will be enrolled in a separate cohort to evaluate safety and preliminary evidence of efficacy...

Mediators in Nasal Hyperreactivity in Allergic Rhinitis and Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Rhinitis, or inflammation of the nasal mucosa, can present with nasal obstruction, nasal discharge, itch or sneezing. If the sinusal mucosa is involved as well, it is called rhinosinusitis and facial pain or loss of smell is possible. Several causes are known, such as an underlying allergy ("allergic rhinitis", AR). If at least 2 symptoms are present for at least 12 weeks, it is called "chronic rhinosinusitis" (CRS). Up to 2/3 of the AR and CRS patients have symptoms upon exposure to triggers such as sudden temperature changes, smoke, fragrances… a phenomenon called "nasal hyperreactivity" (NHR). It is currently not clear why some patients suffer NHR while others do not. In this study, the investigators want to identify the mediators associated with NHR in patients with allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis and healthy control subjects.To do so, participants will be provoked with cold, dry air in order to objectively diagnose NHR. Before and after provocation, the peak nasal inspiratory flow will be measured and samples will be collected (nasal secretions, biopsies).

Necitumumab and Trastuzumab in Combination With Osimertinib for the Treatment of Refractory Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR)-Mutated Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

This phase Ib/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of trastuzumab and necitumumab together with osimertinib, and to see how well they work for the treatment of stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that is EGFR-mutated, resistant to osimertinib, and has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as trastuzumab and necitumumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Osimertinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving trastuzumab and necitumumab together with osimertinib may work better than osimertinib alone in treating patients with stage IV EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer.
