NCT ID: NCT05843253 Not yet recruiting - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Study of Ribociclib and Everolimus in HGG and DIPG

Start date: June 28, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to determine the efficacy of the study drugs ribociclib and everolimus to treat pediatric and young adult patients newly diagnosed with a high-grade glioma (HGG), including DIPG, that have genetic changes in pathways (cell cycle, PI3K/mTOR) that these drugs target. The main question the study aims to answer is whether the combination of ribociclib and everolimus can prolong the life of patients diagnosed with HGG, including DIPG.

NCT ID: NCT05842668 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy

Effect of Virtual Glasses on Pain and Comfort During ESWL

Start date: September 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of virtual glasses application on the patient's pain and comfort level during ESWL. The data obtained in the research will be analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 "Statistical Package for Social Sciences" for Windows program. Descriptive statistical methods when evaluating data; number, percentage, mean, frequency, standard deviation will be used. As hypothesis tests, analysis will be made with Mann Whitney U, student t test, and chi-square tests. The findings will be interpreted with a significance level of 0.05 at the 95% confidence interval.

Toripalimab in Combination With Chemotherapy and Antiangiogenic Agents in Patients With Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer After Failure of Immunotherapy (PD-1/L1 Inhibitors)

Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase II, single arm, open-label, single-center study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Toripalimab combined with Chemotherapy and Antiangiogenic Agents in patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer After Failure of Immunotherapy (PD-1/L1 inhibitors)

NCT ID: NCT05839379 Not yet recruiting - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Targeted Pediatric High-Grade Glioma Therapy

Start date: June 28, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this study is to perform genetic sequencing on brain tumors from children, adolescents, and young adult patients who have been newly diagnosed with a high-grade glioma. This molecular profiling will decide if patients are eligible to participate in a subsequent treatment-based clinical trial based on the genetic alterations identified in their tumor.

NCT ID: NCT05838937 Not yet recruiting - Cardiogenic Shock Clinical Trials

The Usefulness of Myocardial Work IndeX in ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Patients

MIX-ECMO
Start date: June 1, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Investigation of the potential prognostic role of non-invasive myocardial work in patients receiving veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation therapy.

NCT ID: NCT05837689 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Pediatric

Minimal Residual Disease Quantification by Next-generation Sequencing in Pediatric B-ALL Children Patients Treated With Blinatumomab Consolidation

Start date: April 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

A retrospective analysis to investigate pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients who were treated with blinatumomab for consolidation, and who were detected as minimal residual disease (MRD) positive by next generation sequencing (NGS). The efficacy of blinatumomab clearing MRD detected by NGS will be analyzed, in order to see the potential of using NGS to guide MRD eradication by blinatumomab.

NCT ID: NCT05835804 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck

Intratumoral Gemcitabine, Paclitaxel, Carboplatine and Intravenous Nivolumab for Locally Recurrence of Head and Neck Cancers

NIVOCHIMLOC
Start date: June 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Patients with locally recurrent squamous-cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) after Chemotherapy and immunotherapy have a very poor prognosis and limited therapeutic options. Intratumoral chemotherapy (ITC) with cisplatin and epinephrine in order to increase the local cisplatin retention lead to a 50 % response rate in several studies but was given up due to the poor local tolerance with frequent necrosis of the peritumoral tissues. Gemcitabine, carboplatin and paclitaxel (GCP) are used in advanced SCCHN. These chemotherapies seem to be interesting options for intratumoral infusion: their different effect could lead to avoid chemotherapy resistance with a good tolerance profile, without tissue necrosis profile. The other major option for recurrent SCCHN is immunotherapy by Nivolumab, an anti PD-1 with a 13% mediane response rate. Nevertheless, the failure of this treatment stay unclear, but immunosuppressive action of the tumour is suspected. The presence of tumoral antigen could lead to better response to immunotherapy; association of chemotherapy and immunotherapy seems a promosing association to avoid treatment resistance as cytotoxic release tumoral antigen; it could also be associated to an abscopal effect. The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of ITC using GCP in LOCAL recurrent SCCHN treated by nivolumab.
