NCT ID: NCT06295627 Completed - Clinical trials for Catheter-associated Urinary Tract Infection

The Analysis of Factors Causing Indwelling Urinary Catheter-related Infections in ICU Patients and Their Nursing Strategies

Start date: January 30, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To explore the analysis of factors causing indwelling urinary catheter-related infections in ICU patients and their nursing strategies, and to provide reference for clinical nursing work. 291 patients with indwelling urinary catheters in the second area of ICU of our hospital from January 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into infection group and non-infection group according to the presence or absence of urinary tract infection. Non-infection group The first group consisted of patients without urinary tract infection (278 cases), and the infection group consisted of patients with urinary tract infection (13 cases). A retrospective analysis method was used to analyze the causes of catheter-related urinary tract infection and the infecting bacteria of the two groups of patients. A single factor analysis was performed on various factors and other related factors, and corresponding nursing strategies were summarized and proposed.

NCT ID: NCT06294808 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Resectable

Predicting Survival After Surgical Resection for the Entire Spectrum of Anatomically Resectable HCC

Start date: July 17, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Clinical outcomes after surgical resection in HCC is a continuum and is clearly related to tumor burden but needs better definition. The researchers describe the use of the "metro ticket" approach to analyze surgical outcomes over the whole spectrum of anatomically resectable HCC to define overall survival including intermediate stage tumors (BCLC B). The analysis the researchers provide in this study enables the clinician to select the optimal surgical resection candidate based on robust long term survival data. In addition, study compares outcome for open surgery vs laparoscopic surgery, survival outcome for viral and non-viral HCC using Albumin-Bilirubin (ALBI) for more comprehensive study result.

NCT ID: NCT06293872 Completed - Clinical trials for Orthodontic Appliance Complication

Evaluation of Two Mini-Implant Lengths in the Infra-Zygomatic Crest Region

Start date: February 25, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of two different lengths of mini-implants in the infrazygomatic area regarding primary stability, pain perception, sinus penetration, secondary stability and failure rate.

NCT ID: NCT06292910 Completed - Clinical trials for Congenital Heart Disease

Central Venous to Arterial CO2 Difference and Low Cardiac Output Syndrome Related Outcomes in Children After Cardiac Surgery

VACO2
Start date: August 8, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the capability of 3 different bedside surrogates in children who underwent cardiac surgery and were admitted in intensive care unit. These test are lactate, oxygen saturation from central venous and the carbon dioxide gap between central venous and arterial. The main questions is which one is the best prognostication for post operation poor outcomes Participants will be taken routine blood test for post cardiac care (at ICU arrival, 6, 12, and 24 hour post operation) and follow the their outcomes. There is no any intervention or drug in this research

NCT ID: NCT06287554 Completed - Clinical trials for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome

Effect of Early Implementation of Prone Positioning

prone
Start date: March 4, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Background and objective: The ramifications of early lung protective measures and prone positioning on the ICU length of stay rates of participants admitted to the ICU with acute respiratory distress syndrome amid the COVID-19 pandemic constitute a pivotal examination. The study aims to identify the effect of early prone positioning on the length of stay, discharge rate, and number of tracheostomized patients in the ICU.

NCT ID: NCT06286839 Completed - Clinical trials for Immune System Diseases

Study of Cannabidiol (CBD) in Healthy Volunteers

Start date: May 12, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This was a prospective, single-centre, open label, randomized, two-arm, parallel design study to evaluate the effect of four-weeks consumption of active study product on primary endpoint in healthy adults

NCT ID: NCT06284733 Completed - Clinical trials for Amputation; Traumatic, Leg, Lower

Whole-body Vibration Without Visual Feedback on Postural Steadiness in Unilateral Trans-femoral Traumatic Amputees

Start date: November 5, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will investigate the effects of Whole-body vibration without visual feedback on postural steadiness in unilateral trans-femoral traumatic amputees. This study will be carried out at the outpatient clinic of the faculty of physical therapy, modern university for technology and information, and El Wafaa wel Amal hospital. All participants will sign a written consent form after receiving full information about the purpose of the study, procedure, possible benefits, privacy, and use of data.

NCT ID: NCT06284135 Completed - Clinical trials for Lymphocele After Surgical Procedure

MICHL-trial: Impact of Peritoneal Bladder Flap in RARP Patients on Lymphoceles

Start date: June 19, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A two-armed prospective randomised, controlled, single-centre trial on 1080 patients with prostate cancer who underwent robot-assisted radical prostatectomy with bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection was carried out. Patients in the intervention arm received fixation of the peritoneal flap of the bladder to the plexus Santorini at the end of surgery (Michl-technique, MT); in the control group, surgery was performed without this modification. The primary endpoint was the rate of lymphoceles requiring intervention.

NCT ID: NCT06284083 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea-hypopnea Syndrome

Start date: December 18, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study included 90 volunteer Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome patients. Only 7 mL blood samples collected from patients. Some biochemicals parameters analyzed in blood serum/plasma.
