Filter by:This study aims to determine whether MK-8291 is effective in reducing pain in participants with post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) with allodynia. The primary hypothesis is that when compared to placebo, treatment with MK-8291 reduces the change from Baseline in participant-reported pain intensity by 1 on an 11-point numeric rating scale.
Investigate the efficacy and safety of DS-5565 in subjects with Post-Herpetic Neuralgia (PHN) in comparison to placebo
The efficacy and safety of the low concentration [0.65% (50 µg/cm2) and 1.25% (100 µg/cm2)] capsaicin patches and compared them to conventional 0.075% capsaicin cream and placebo patch in patients suffering from peripheral neuropathy
The purpose of this study is to assess the painkilling efficacy of ASP8477 relative to mock (placebo) in patients that have been diagnosed with painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy or postherpetic neuralgia determined by the change in the average daily pain intensity in patients that initially respond favorably to treatment with ASP8477.
At Saint-Antoine's hospital, in CETD a multidisciplinary team takes care of patients with chronic pain. Free-drug techniques are available to reduce their consumption of analgesics. This study is to assess the relief obtained by the simultaneous combination of these two techniques: transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and hypnosis.
The study aims to estimate the incidence of herpes zoster (HZ), proportion of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) and the economic burden and impact on quality of life, in Japanese adults greater than or equal to sixty years of age.
To investigate the effect of repeat oral dosing of CNV2197944 75 mg tid on the pain experienced in post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) as measured by changes in PI-NRS after three weeks of treatment compared to the baseline period.
The purpose of this study is to collect data on the incidence, complications, economic burden and impact on the quality of life in adults aged ≥ 50 years with HZ disease in Italy.
This study will compare Z160 and placebo in patients with Postherpetic Neuralgia for safety and efficacy for a period of 6 weeks.
Neuropathic pain is a common condition and affecting 40 to 70% of the general population. Post-herpetic neuralgia is a condition almost complex and requires a multi modal treatment. Aim: This is a pilot proof-of-principle study designed to evaluate the use of low-dose methadone in post-herpetic neuralgia patients who remained refractory after first and second line treatment for post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) and had indication for the association of an opioid agent to their current drug regimen.
