NCT ID: NCT02632201 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Immunotherapy Using Pluripotent Killer-Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 (PIK-HER2) Cells for the Treatment of Advanced Gastric Cancer With Liver Metastasis

Start date: September 2015
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PIK-HER2 cells in the treatment of advanced Her2 high expressed gastric cancer with liver metastasis patients. Methods: This study designs a novel therapy using PIK-HER2 cells. 40 Her2 positive patients with liver metastasis from gastric cancer will be enrolled. They are randomly divided into dendritic cell-precision multiple antigen T cells (DC-PMAT) group and PIK-HER2 cells group. Both DC-PMAT treatment and PIK-HER2 cells treatment will be performed every 3 weeks with a total of three periods. The mail clinical indicators are Progression-Free-Survival and Overall Survival.

NCT ID: NCT02631564 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colon Cancer Liver Metastasis

Safety of TACE With Oxaliplatin, Irinotecan and Raltitrexed for Refractory Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastasis

Start date: June 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of this study is to observe whether hepatic infusion by oxaliplatin, irinotecan and raltitrexed with or without embolization by lipiodol or microspheres are effective in the treatment of refratory liver metastasis from colorectal cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02628379 Completed - Metastatic Disease Clinical Trials

Outcomes of FoundationOne Directed Therapy in Cancer of Unknown Primary

Start date: May 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of the current study is to determine whether Foundation Medicine's next generation sequencing assay, called FoundationOne, will provide information that allows physicians to make treatment decisions using targeted therapies in clinical trials or FDA approved therapies, including "off-label" agents, that result in superior OS compared to historical outcomes for standard CUP therapy.

NCT ID: NCT02622841 Completed - Neoplasm Metastasis Clinical Trials

Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy Followed by Surgical Stabilization for Patients With Unstable Spinal Metastases

BLEND
Start date: June 2015
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to assess the feasibility and safety of combining stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and pedicle screw fixation in a 48-hour window for the treatment of painful unstable metastases of the thoracic and/or lumbar spine.

NCT ID: NCT02621515 Terminated - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Nivo/Ipi Combination Therapy in Symptomatic Brain Metastases

CA209-322
Start date: August 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The effect of nivolumab on symptomatic brain metastases is currently unknown. This phase 2 clinical trial will be the first to evaluate this intracranial effect in humans, with the aim to give these patients the possibility to be treated with anti-PD-1. Besides the objective response rate, long term benefits in this patient category will be evaluated by measuring survival in terms of progression free survival and overall survival. Furthermore safety and tolerability of administration of this drug in patients with symptomatic brain metastases will be studied, as this is the first study for nivolumab in this specific patient category.

NCT ID: NCT02616887 Terminated - Clinical trials for Vertebral Metastases

Study of Image-Guided SBRT for Vertebral Metastases

Start date: November 5, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Based on the known efficacy of ablative single dose SBRT and VMAT technique in various solid tumors, investigators have designed this study to assess feasibility of SBRT in selected patients with spine metastases.

NCT ID: NCT02616393 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Phase 2 Study of Study of Tesevatinib in Subjects With NSCLC and Brain or Leptomeningeal Metastases

Start date: November 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A study to assess the activity of tesevatinib in subjects with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations who have disease progression with Brain Metastases (BM) or Leptomeningeal Metastases (LM) or who have either BM or LM at initial presentation (IP)

NCT ID: NCT02616016 Withdrawn - Pain Clinical Trials

MRI Guided HIFU for Palliation of Painful Skeletal Metastases in Children

Start date: April 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The Philips Sonalleve MR-HIFU system is expected to be effective in reducing pain intensity and/or reducing analgesic use in patients with painful uncomplicated bone metastases. No serious adverse effects are expected to result from this treatment.

NCT ID: NCT02615665 Completed - Clinical trials for Colorectal Liver Metastases

Intratumoral CD3+ and NKp46+ Cells in Colorectal Liver Metastases

Start date: January 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The long-term outcome of patients resected for colorectal liver metastases (CLM) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (CHT) depends by several tumoral and non-tumoral factors, such as the immune response to the tumor and to the CHT. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of the pathological and immunological response in patients undergoing liver resection for CLM after CHT in regards to the long-term outcome.

NCT ID: NCT02613390 Completed - Spinal Tumor Clinical Trials

Safety Evaluation of Intra-Operative MRI-Based Guidance for Laser Ablation of Epidural Metastasis

Start date: December 18, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical research study is to learn about the safety and accuracy of using MRI as a guidance system during laser ablation surgery of tumors that have spread to the spine.
