Evaluating the Effect of a Mobile Audio Companion (Elly) to Reduce Anxiety in Cancer Patients

This is a single-arm, prospective, interventional study in cancer survivors and patients to examine the feasibility of a mobile health application, Elly (Elly Health Inc.), to reduce levels of anxiety, stress, loneliness, and social isolation. Participants will be given access to the Elly phone application developed by Elly Health Inc. and will be asked to complete questionnaires measuring quality of life at multiple timepoints during the study.

Binimetinib and Imatinib for Unresectable Stage III-IV KIT-Mutant Melanoma

This phase II trial studies how well binimetinib and imatinib work in treating patients with stage III-IV KIT-mutant melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Binimetinib and imatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving binimetinib and imatinib may help treat patients with KIT-mutant melanoma.

TiTAN-1: Safety, Proliferation and Persistence of GEN-011 Autologous Cell Therapy

TiTAN-1 is a first-in-human study of GEN-011, an experimental treatment being evaluated in adult patients with advanced cancer. GEN-011 is a T cell therapy made specific to each patient, using the patient's own circulating immune cells. First, Genocea confirms which cancer proteins are recognized already by each patient's T cells using ATLAS™. Then, immune cells that recognize these cancer proteins are multiplied many times (a process called PLANET™) to create a personalized GEN-011 cell therapy, which is given back to the patient in one or more intravenous (IV) infusions.

Nodal Radiation Therapy for Sentinel Lymph Node Positive Melanoma

This phase II trial seeks to determine the role of nodal radiation therapy after sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) for patients with high risk sentinel lymph node positive melanoma who are planned for immunotherapy without completion lymph node dissection. Prior studies of patients with more advanced melanoma have shown nodal radiation therapy can decrease the risk of nodal recurrence but it is not known if this same benefit will be seen in patients with high risk sentinel lymph node positive disease who are planned for immunotherapy.

Anti-PD-1 Antibody in the Treatment of Patients With Malignant Melanoma of the Female Genital Tract

This is a single-center, open-label, single-arm phase II clinical study to exploratory observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of anti-PD-1 antibody (Camrelizumab for Injection) in patients with malignant melanoma of the female genital tract. Subjects were to have a safety visit 3 days prior to dosing in each treatment cycle after the study. Imaging was performed every 8 weeks to assess efficacy until radiographic progression, initiation of new antineoplastic therapy, withdrawal of consent, or subject lost to follow-up/death. After the end of treatment, an end-of-treatment visit and a post-treatment safety visit will also be performed. After the end of treatment, subjects will also be followed up for survival (every 3 months for years 1 to 2, every 4 months for years 3, every 6 months for years 4 to 5, and annually from year 6) to collect and record the survival status of subjects and subsequent anti-tumor treatment.

Study of PAC-1 and Entrectinib for Patients With Metastatic Uveal Melanoma

Single arm study with dose escalation Phase Ib cohort followed by a Phase II cohort. PAC-1 (PO) will be given daily on Days 1 through 21 of each cycle (28-day cycle). Entrectinib (PO) will be given daily on Days 1 through 28 of each cycle. Response will be evaluated after every 2 cycles. Treatment will continue until disease progression based on RECIST criteria or intolerable toxicity.

A Prospective Natural History Study in Uveal Melanoma

The overall objective of this proposal is to develop and utilize a multicenter UM registry that will, in a longitudinal fashion, capture prospective data in order to characterize the natural history of UM and provide data that will be used to support the development of novel therapies for this disease. The care of patients with UM requires a multi-disciplinary team of physicians that commonly requires the involvement of both radiation oncology and interventional radiology, and is typically directed by an ophthalmologic oncologist at time of initial diagnosis of primary disease. Overall management is transitioned to a medical oncologist when distant recurrence is identified. In the case that a patient presents with metastasis at the time of diagnosis, a medical oncologist typically directs overall management. The management of surveillance for the development of metastasis following the treatment of primary disease is variable and, if performed at all, is managed by either an ophthalmologic oncologist or medical oncologist. Thus, the successful development of a registry that aims to capture the data regarding the full natural history of UM requires a collaborative effort including leaders from both the UM ophthalmologic oncology and medical oncology fields. To this end, the investigators have built an initial consortium of key ophthalmologic oncology and medical oncology leaders from multiple major UM centers in the United States.

In this study, we compared a negative pressure wound therapy, versus a conventional dressing in order to evaluate the most efficient wound therapy closure after axillary and inguinal lymph nodes dissections in the management of metastatic skin tumors. A vacuum assisted closure therapy should prevent these comorbidities.

Radiation Therapy, Plasma Exchange, and Immunotherapy (Pembrolizumab or Nivolumab) for the Treatment of Melanoma

This early phase I trial investigates how well radiation therapy, plasma exchange, and pembrolizumab or nivolumab work in treating patients with melanoma. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Plasma exchange (also known as "plasmapheresis") is a way to "clean" or "flush out" the blood. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Plasma exchange may help to improve the effect of standard radiation therapy and immunotherapy treatment on tumor cells of patients with melanoma.
