NCT ID: NCT00003500 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-hodgkins Lymphoma

Antineoplaston Therapy in Treating Patients With Intermediate-Grade Stage II - IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: March 11, 1996
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Current therapies for Refractory or Recurrent Intermediate-Grade Stage II - IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma provide very limited benefit to the patient. The anti-cancer properties of Antineoplaston therapy suggest that it may prove beneficial in the treatment of Refractory or Recurrent Intermediate-Grade Stage II - IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. PURPOSE: This study is being performed to determine the effects (good and bad) that Antineoplaston therapy has on patients with Refractory or Recurrent Intermediate-Grade Stage II - IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT00003499 Completed - Low-Grade Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Antineoplaston Therapy in Treating Patients With Low-Grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: March 6, 1996
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Current therapies for Low-grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma provide limited benefit to the patient. The anti-cancer properties of Antineoplaston therapy suggest that it may prove beneficial in the treatment of Low-grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. PURPOSE: This study is being performed to determine the effects (good and bad) that Antineoplaston therapy has on patients with Low-grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT00003498 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non Hodgkin Lymphoma

Antineoplaston Therapy in Treating Patients With Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: October 13, 1997
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Current therapies for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma provide limited benefit to the patient. The anti-cancer properties of Antineoplaston therapy suggest that it may prove beneficial in the treatment of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. PURPOSE: This study is being performed to determine the effects (good and bad) that Antineoplaston therapy has on patients with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT00003451 Completed - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Interleukin-12 Followed by Interferon Alfa in Treating Patients With Advanced Cancer

Start date: August 1998
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of combining interleukin-12 and interferon alfa in treating patients who have residual, recurrent, or metastatic malignant melanoma or other advanced cancer that has not responded to standard therapy. Interleukin-12 may stimulate a person's white blood cells to kill cancer cells. Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of the cancer cells. Combining interleukin-12 with interferon alfa may kill more cancer cells.

NCT ID: NCT00003435 Withdrawn - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Antiviral Therapy Plus Either Peripheral Stem Cell or Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation in Treating Patients Who Are HIV Positive and Have Hematologic Cancer

Start date: May 1998
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Antiviral agents are drugs that act against viruses and may be an effective treatment for HIV. Peripheral stem cell transplantation or umbilical cord blood transplantation may be able to replace immune cells that were destroyed by chemotherapy and radiation therapy used to kill tumor cells. Combining either umbilical cord blood transplantation or peripheral stem cell transplantation with antiviral therapy may be an effective treatment for HIV-positive patients who have hematologic cancer. PURPOSE: Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of antiviral therapy plus either peripheral stem cell transplantation or umbilical cord blood transplantation in treating HIV-positive patients who have refractory or recurrent hematologic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT00003425 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Phase I/II Study of Escalating-Dose Melphalan w/Autologous SCS & Amifostine Cytoprotect

Start date: December 1997
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining chemotherapy with peripheral stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy drugs and kill more tumor cells. Chemoprotective drugs such as amifostine may protect normal cells from the side effects of chemotherapy. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of high-dose melphalan plus peripheral stem cell transplantation and amifostine in treating patients with cancer.

NCT ID: NCT00003423 Active, not recruiting - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Children With Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: May 1995
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more cancer cells. It is not yet known which combination chemotherapy regimen is more effective for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of different regimens of combination chemotherapy in treating children who have newly diagnosed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT00003421 Completed - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Advanced Hodgkin's Disease

Start date: June 1998
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known which chemotherapy regimen is more effective for advanced Hodgkin's disease. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare different combination chemotherapy regimens in treating patients with advanced Hodgkin's disease.

NCT ID: NCT00003416 Completed - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

S9805, High-Dose Melphalan Plus Peripheral Stem Cell Transplantation Followed by Interferon Alfa in Treating Patients With Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia

Start date: September 1998
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining chemotherapy with peripheral stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy and kill more tumor cells. Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of the cancer cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of high-dose melphalan plus peripheral stem cell transplantation followed by interferon alfa in treating patients with Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia.

NCT ID: NCT00003414 Completed - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Graft-Versus-Host Disease in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Lymphoma or Hodgkin's Disease

Start date: October 1997
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Cyclosporine may induce graft-versus-host disease and make the body build an immune response that will kill cancer cells. Interleukin-2 and interferon gamma may enhance the effectiveness of graft-versus-host disease to kill cancer cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to determine the effectiveness of graft-versus-host disease in treating patients who have recurrent or refractory lymphoma or Hodgkin's disease .
