View clinical trials related to Lymphoma.
Filter by:The purpose of this study is to determine the MTD and/or RP2D of ABI-011 when administered by IV on Day 1, Day 8 and Day 15 with one week of rest for patients with advanced solid tumor malignancies and lymphomas.
This is a phase 2 study looking at efficacy and toxicity of oral sirolimus in combination with oral methotrexate in children with refractory/relapsed ALL or NHL. Secondary objectives include characterizing the trough levels produced by administration of oral sirolimus in children with refractory/relapsed ALL/NHL and to evaluate the effect of sirolimus on intracellular targets related to mTOR inhibition.
Chemotherapy drugs like alkylating agents are frequently used in various combined regimens to treat neoplastic and benign diseases. These drugs are definitely associated with premature ovarian failure (POF), resulting in an important decrease of the long-term quality of life and an increase of morbidity. A recent study showed that the patients treated by alkylating agents had a 4.52 fold higher risk to lose their ovarian function compared with those who were treated by other agents. The rate of POF after treatment ranged from 40 to 80%, according to the age of the patients and the total doses administered. Young women who experience POF have to face with the prospects of infertility and to consider years of hormonal replacement therapy. The possibility of minimizing gonadal damage by administering of protective therapy during chemotherapy represents an attractive option for these patients. The aim of this study is to evaluate the protective effect on the ovarian function of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRha) administered concomitantly to alkylating agents. Preliminary data in the literature on animals (rat and monkeys) are promising. Data in human are, however, highly controversial.
RATIONALE: Low dose deferasirox may be safe and effective in treating patients who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplant and have iron overload. PURPOSE: This pilot clinical trial studies safety and tolerability of deferasirox in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients who have iron overload. Effect of low dose deferasirox on labile plasma iron is also examined.
This phase I clinical trial is studying the side effects and best dose of RO4929097 when given together with capecitabine in treating patients with refractory solid tumors. RO4929097 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving RO4929097 together with chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells.
This phase II study is aimed at the clinical efficacy and toxicity of 6th R-CHOP chemotherapy followed by ibritumomab tiuxetan (Zevalin) consolidation in patients with limited-stage, bulky diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
The purpose of this study is to determine whether 30Gy Involved-field Radiotherapy (IFRT) is as effective as 40Gy in the treatment of localized Diffused Large B cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) when completing CR after chemotherapy.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: Determine the safety and tolerability of nilotinib in steroid dependent / refractory cGVHD. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: Determine the clinical efficacy of nilotinib in steroid dependent / refractory cGVHD.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of MabThera in combination chemotherapy, followed by maintenance treatment with MabThera. The anticipated time on study treatment is 1-2 years, and the target sample size is <100 individuals.
RATIONALE: Studying the effects of rituximab in blood and tumor tissue samples from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about the effects of rituximab on cancer cells. It may also help doctors identify biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This research study is studying biomarkers in samples from patients with follicular lymphoma treated with rituximab.
