Everolimus and Lenalidomide in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin Lymphoma

RATIONALE: Everolimus may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Lenalidomide may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking blood flow to the cancer. Giving everolimus together with lenalidomide may be an effective treatment for lymphoma. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of giving everolimus and lenalidomide together and to see how well they work in treating patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin lymphoma.

This study is to evaluate the efficacy of risk-adapted treatment strategy for stage I/II extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma. The risk stratification is based on the Korean NK prognostic index. Thus, the group I/II will receive concomitant chemoradiation followed by VIDL chemotherapy. The group III/IV will receive high dose-chemotherapy followed by autologous stem cell transplantation after the completion of VIDL chemotherapy.

This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well bortezomib and vorinostat work in treating patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) after patients' own stem cell (autologous) transplant. Bortezomib and vorinostat in the laboratory may stop the growth of lymphoma cells and make them more likely to die by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving bortezomib together with vorinostat after an autologous stem cell transplant may thus kill lymphoma cells that remain after transplant.

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of carmustine when given together with O6-benzylguanine and to see how well they work in treating patients with stage IA-IIA cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carmustine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. O6-benzylguanine may help carmustine work better by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. Giving O6-benzylguanine with carmustine may kill more cancer cells.
