Filter by:This study will assess the prophylactic effect of pegfilgrastim (Neulastim) on febrile and/or Grade IV neutropenia in participants receiving chemotherapy (CT) or immunochemotherapy (ICT) as first or second line treatment for NHL. Pegfilgrastim will be administered at a fixed dose of 6 milligrams (mg) subcutaneously 24 hours after the last dose of CT or ICT in each treatment cycle.
The outcome of patients with relapsed or refractory adult T-acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and the related disease T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) is extremely poor with 30% of the patients responding to first salvage therapy and long-term survival of only 10%. Therefore, novel therapies for patients with relapsed/refractory T-ALL/LBL represent an unmet clinical need. Recent data provide strong evidence that CXCR4 signaling plays a major role in T-cell leukemia cell maintenance and leukemia initiating activity, and targeting CXCR4 signaling in T-ALL cells reduces tumor growth in an animal model. In this study, the investigators propose that the addition of BL-8040 to nelarabine as a salvage therapy for patients with relapsed/refractory T-ALL/LBL will result in a higher complete remission (CR) rate than nelarabine alone without an increase in toxicity and will allow patients to proceed to a potentially curative allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant.
Interferon-free Antiviral Treatment of HCV-Positive Genotype 1b Related Indolent non-Hodgkin Lymphomas Patients Using Daclatasvir and Asunaprevir: A Pilot Study
This is a pilot study to determine the overall survival rate and toxicities of obinutuzumab given with GDP chemotherapy for relapsed or refractory CD20+ aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Patients who have CD20+ and progressed R-CHOP therapy will be enrolled into the study. About 30 patients are planned to be enrolled from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. If the enrollment is very slow then additional site may be included. Patients will receive Obinutuzumab +GDP for 3 cycles intravenously. CT scan will be used to evaluate the response rate after cycle 2 and PET-CT will be used after cycle 3. Responders (complete metabolic response, partial metabolic response) should proceed to autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT). Patients who have progressed after three cycles or less are to have their protocol treatment discontinued, with subsequent treatment at investigator discretion. Patients will be followed up to 24 months from transplant done or last chemo. Mandatory tissue submission and optional tissue and blood submission are required for the correlative component of this study.
This was a randomized, double-blind, active-controlled, multiple-dose, clinical similarity study to evaluate the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, tolerability and immunogenicity of ABP 798 compared with rituximab in subjects with grade 1, 2, or 3a follicular B-cell NHL and low tumor burden. Subjects were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive a 375 mg/m^2 intravenous infusion of either ABP 798 or rituximab once weekly for 4 weeks followed by dosing at weeks 12 and 20.
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of ceritinib when given together with brentuximab vedotin to see how well they work in treating treatment-naive patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Ceritinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as brentuximab vedotin, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ceritinib together with brentuximab vedotin may be a better treatment for ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
This pilot phase I/II trial studies the side effects and how well sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil work in preventing graft versus host disease (GvHD) in patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). Biological therapies, such as sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil, use substances made from living organisms that may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop tumor cells from growing. Giving sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil after hematopoietic stem cell transplant may be better in preventing graft-versus-host disease.

The purpose of the study is to compare safety and efficacy of stem cell mobilization using G-CSF (filgrastim) alone vs. intermediate-dose cytosine arabinoside plus G-CSF in Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma patients.
The goal of this clinical trial is to study the feasibility and efficacy of anti-CD22:TCRz:4-1BB chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-modified T (CAR-T) cells in treating recurrent patients with refractory or resistant lymphoma to anti-CD19:TCRz:CD28 CAR-T cells. Recently, cancer immunotherapy, treatments aiming to arm patients with immunity specifically against cancer cells, has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy. Among the many emerging immunotherapeutic approaches, clinical trials utilizing CARs against B cell malignancies have demonstrated remarkable potential. CARs combine the variable region of an antibody with T-cell signaling moieties to confer T-cell activation with the targeting specificity of an antibody. Thus, CARs are not MHC-restricted so they are not vulnerable to MHC down regulation by tumors. However, defined by the recession of evaluable lesions, the persistence and efficacy of CAR-T cells are still restricted by the "target" selection. Previous clinical studies largely utilized CD19 for the in vivo targeting of CAR-T cells, which preferentially become refractory or resistant due to the heterogeneity of lymphoma. This clinical investigation is to test a hypothesis whether anti-CD22 CAR-T cells work more effective in lymphoma patients refractory or resistent to anti-CD19:TCRz:CD28 CAR-T cells.
