NCT ID: NCT03709953 Recruiting - Lung Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Apatinib as Third-line Therapy for Primary Pulmonary Lymphoepithelioid Carcinoma

Spark-AL003
Start date: October 19, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Currently, there is no standard treatment for primary pulmonary lymphoepithelioid carcinoma. Apatinib is a new kind of Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). A disease-control rate of 75% was found in lung cancer patients in a phase II clinical study. Therefore, researchers hope to explore the efficacy and safety of apatinib in the treatment of primary pulmonary lymphoepithelioid carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT03709706 Terminated - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Pilot Immunotherapy Study With Letetresgene Autoleucel (Lete-cel, GSK3377794)T-cells in New York Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma-1 (NY-ESO-1)/ LAGE-1a-positive Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Either Alone or in Combination With Pembrolizumab

Start date: December 31, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This trial will evaluate safety and tolerability of letetresgene autoleucel (GSK3377794) with or without pembrolizumab in participants with non-small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03708328 Active, not recruiting - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

A Dose Escalation and Expansion Study of Lomvastomig, a PD-1/TIM-3 Bispecific Antibody, in Participants With Advanced and/or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: October 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a first-in-human, open-label, multicenter, Phase I multiple-ascending dose (MAD) study of single agent lomvastomig (RO7121661), an anti PD-1 (programmed death-1) and TIM-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3) bispecific antibody, for participants with advanced and/or metastatic solid tumors. The study consists of 2 parts: Dose Escalation (Part A) and Expansion (Parts B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5). The Dose Escalation part will be conducted first to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or recommended dose for expansion (RDE) based on safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic, and/or the pharmacodynamic profile of escalating doses of lomvastomig. The Expansion part will enroll tumor-specific cohorts to evaluate anti-tumor activity of the MTD and/or RDE of lomvastomig from Part A (Q2W) and to confirm safety and tolerability in participants with selected tumor types.

NCT ID: NCT03707938 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Local Consolidative Therapy and Brigatinib in Treating Patients With Stage IV or Recurrent Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: December 18, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This early phase I trial studies the side effects and how well local consolidative therapy (LCT) and brigatinib works in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or has come back (recurrent). Giving LCT, such as surgery and/or radiation, after initial treatment may kill any remaining tumor cells. Brigatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving LCT and brigatinib may work better in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03707925 Terminated - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Bronchoscopic Laser Ablation of Peripheral Lung Tumors

Start date: September 18, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

As our population ages and we diagnose early lung cancer in patients who cannot undergo surgery due to multiple medical conditions, there is growing interest in minimally invasive modalities to treat these tumors. In this study we are assessing the ability of bronchoscopic laser ablation to kill the cancer cells in these tumors. Patients will undergo bronchoscopy (a tube-like instrument inserted through the mouth to view the inside of the trachea, air passages, and lungs). A thin catheter will be passed through the wind-pipes and into the lung tumor with computed tomography guidance. A laser probe is then passed through this catheter and it is used to destroy the tumor with heat. Patients will then undergo lung surgery with resection of the tumor, and the resected specimen will be reviewed to describe the amount of tumor-kill produced by the laser.

NCT ID: NCT03707574 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Anatomic Stage III Breast Cancer AJCC v8

Genetic Analysis of Blood and Tissue Samples From Patients With Advanced Cancer, Moonshot Study

Start date: April 9, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This trial studies the genetic analysis of blood and tissue samples from patients with cancer that has spread to other anatomic sites (advanced) or is no longer responding to treatment. Studying these samples in the laboratory may help doctors to learn how genes affect cancer and how they affect a person's response to treatment.

NCT ID: NCT03706703 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Rh-Endostatin (Endostar®) Continuous Intravenous Infusion

Start date: October 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Endostar is a anti-angiogenesis product and has been launched in China . The efficacy and safety have been defined. However, the compliance is unsatisfactory since routine i.v of Endostar is needed for 3 to 4 hours daily during one cycle of 14 days. The continuous intravenous infusion by using venous pump can improve the compliance.

NCT ID: NCT03706287 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Lung Cancer Metastatic

Efficacy and Safety of Anlotinib Plus Platinum Plus Pemetrexed in T790M-negative NSCLC

Start date: December 6, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is conducted to explore the safety and efficacy of anlotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitors of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR)、FGFR(fibroblast growth factor receptor), platelet-derived growth factor receptor(PDGFR) and tumor cell proliferation related kinase c-Kit, combined with platinum plus pemetrexed in T790M mutation negative metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) after the failure of EGFR-TKI.

NCT ID: NCT03706027 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Study Comparing Two Different Schedules of Radiation for Early-stage Lung Cancer

Start date: December 15, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study's goal is to find out if the kind of side effects people experience from radiation is different depending on the schedule of their radiation treatment. Patients will be randomly assigned to either the 3 Fraction or 5 Fraction schedule of radiation. After patients complete radiation treatment, they will follow up with their radiation oncologist.

NCT ID: NCT03705806 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Palliative Thoracic ImmunoRT

Start date: October 3, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The trial is designed as a prospective observational single arm study investigating stage IV non-small cell lung cancer patients who are routinely treated with a PD-1 inhibitor for indications approved by Health Canada. All patients who are selected will be referred for palliative thoracic radiotherapy and treated with a standard dose prescription of 30 Gy in 10 fractions.
