Coagulation System In STereotactic Radiotherapy Of NSCLC

CISTRON
Start date: March 26, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The risk of thromboembolism is elevated in lung cancer patients. The present project investigates whether stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) further increases the risk of thromboembolic disease in lung cancer patients. If coagulation is activated by SBRT, this study could form the basis of new clinical trials investigating whether lung cancer patients may benefit from thromboprophylaxis during and after stereotactic body radiation therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03891615 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

This study was designed to investigate the efficacy and side effects of combining erlotinib with classical EC/EP chemotherapy regimens.

NCT ID: NCT03883243 Enrolling by invitation - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Monitoring and Telecoaching of Physical Activity in Patients With Stage III and IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: March 15, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is a prospective non-randomised control study to evaluate the efficacy of a physical activity promotion program on the experience of physical activity in patients with stage III and IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with documented disease control (stable disease, partial or complete response defined by RECIST V1.1) at least 6 months after start of first line treatment. The trial will consist of 4 visits. An outpatient clinic visit in which the eligible patients are invited (V1), a screenings visit (V2), a third visit (V3) at which the patients will be divided into the intervention or the control group, according to owning a smartphone and their affinity with it, followed by the start of the intervention consisting of 8 weeks telecoaching by means of an application and step counter and a final visit (V4) 8 weeks after starting up the intervention.

NCT ID: NCT03881488 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of CTX-471 as a Monotherapy or in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Patients Post PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitors in Metastatic or Locally Advanced Malignancies

Start date: May 17, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1, open-label, first-in-human study of CTX-471 administered as a monotherapy or in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic or locally advanced malignancies that have progressed while receiving an approved PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor. The study will be conducted in 2 treatment arms (Monotherapy Arm 1 and Combination Arm 2). Each arm will have two parts: Part 1 Dose Escalation and Part 2 Dose Expansion.

Start date: May 15, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To use the shear-wave elastography to assist the transthoracic ultrasound-guided aspiration biopsy of peripheral lung tumor 1. To identify the intra-tumor heterogeneity of elasticity 2. To increase the diagnostic yield in ultrasound-guided transthoracic biopsy of subpleural pulmonary tumor

NCT ID: NCT03881046 Completed - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Multidimensional Evaluation Of Daily Living Activities And Quality Of Life In Lung Cancer Patients

Start date: February 1, 2019
Phase:

NCT ID: NCT03875092 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study of Carboplatin-Paclitaxel/Nab-Paclitaxel Chemotherapy With or Without Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Adults With First Line Metastatic Squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-3475-407/KEYNOTE-407)-China Extension Study

Start date: April 21, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

In this China extension study, carboplatin and paclitaxel or nano particle albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel) with or without pembrolizumab (MK-3475, KEYTRUDA®) will be administered to Chinese adults with first line metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The primary hypotheses are that treatment with pembrolizumab prolongs: 1) Progression-free Survival (PFS) by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by a blinded central imaging vendor compared to placebo, and 2) Overall Survival (OS) in Chinese participants. After analysis of interim results was conducted, the protocol was amended (Amendment 5) to allow participants the option to discontinue placebo in the control arm and to switch to pembrolizumab in the event of documented progressive disease as assessed by central review.
