NCT ID: NCT04793399 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Phase-Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Safety and Efficacy Evaluation of Bosutinib Plus Atezolizumab in Newly Diagnosed Chronic Leukemia Adult Patients

Start date: February 24, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The combination of bosutinib plus atezolizumab in first line treatment in newly diagnosis chronic-phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) patients could potentially increase molecular responses and therefore treatment discontinuation probabilities in these patients. We propose an Open-Label Phase Ib/II Study of Bosutinib in Combination with Atezolizumab for the Treatment of New Diagnosis Chronic Phase-Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Patients.

NCT ID: NCT03878524 Terminated - Anemia Clinical Trials

Serial Measurements of Molecular and Architectural Responses to Therapy (SMMART) PRIME Trial

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase Ib trial determines if samples from a patient's cancer can be tested to find combinations of drugs that provide clinical benefit for the kind of cancer the patient has. This study is also being done to understand why cancer drugs can stop working and how different cancers in different people respond to different types of therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03807479 Terminated - Clinical trials for Leukemia, Myeloid, Chronic-Phase

Study in Patients With Chronic Leukemia

PONS
Start date: December 11, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will include patients suffering from chronic myeloid leukemia (CP-CML), who were treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI, a substance that blocks the action of enzymes) in a previous therapy but which has not been effective. Patients will be treated with Ponatinib 30 mg in in this study. The aim of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Ponatinib as a second line treatment in patients failing or not tolerating first line therapy with any other approved TKIs. It is expected that Ponatinib, due to its efficacy, may be more effective as second line therapy than other approved TKIs and lead to improved overall survival. The effect will be determined by the molecular response rate (MMR) as the primary objective after 12 months of treatment. The safety of the drug will be evaluated on the basis if routine medical and laboratory examinations.

NCT ID: NCT03079505 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia - Chronic Phase

Dasatinib Versus Nilotinib for Treatment Naïve Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

DANIN
Start date: August 3, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

DANIN study is a randomized, phase 3 clinical trial comparing 'head to head' Nilotinib versus Dasatinib as upfront therapy for patient with chronic myeloid leukemia. The efficacy of both drugs will be tested by measuring BCR/ABL (BCR-ABL = fusion gene from BCR (breakpoint cluster region gene/BCR gene product) and ABL (Abelson proto-oncogene)) using European Leukemia net recommendations the study will be conducted in NCCCR (National Center for Cancer Care & Research) sample size calculations detailed in the statistic part the clinical hematologist will recruit the patients this will include consenting process inclusion and exclusion criteria the molecular pathologist will do the molecular testing the clinical research coordinator and fellows will do the CRF (Case Report Form) as well as quality of life questionnaire and applying the protocol for evaluation of cardiac evaluation Molecular monitoring of BCR-ABL1 transcripts to assess treatment response in CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia).

NCT ID: NCT02906696 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Phase Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, BCR-ABL1 Positive

Bosutinib in Treating Patients With Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in Chronic Phase After Frontline TKI Failure

Start date: October 28, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well bosutinib works in treating patients with chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase after frontline tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) failure. Bosutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT02728700 Terminated - Myelofibrosis Clinical Trials

Sirolimus and Mycophenolate Mofetil in Preventing GVHD in Patients With Hematologic Malignancies Undergoing HSCT

Start date: February 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This pilot phase I/II trial studies the side effects and how well sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil work in preventing graft versus host disease (GvHD) in patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). Biological therapies, such as sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil, use substances made from living organisms that may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop tumor cells from growing. Giving sirolimus and mycophenolate mofetil after hematopoietic stem cell transplant may be better in preventing graft-versus-host disease.

NCT ID: NCT02709083 Terminated - Leukemia Clinical Trials

Dasatinib or Nilotinib Followed by Imatinib in Patients With Newly Diagnosed, Chronic Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Start date: October 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well dasatinib, nilotinib, and imatinib mesylate works in treating patients with newly diagnosed, previously untreated chronic myeloid leukemia in which fewer than 10% of the cells in the blood and bone marrow are blast cells (immature blood cells) (chronic phase). Dasatinib, nilotinib, and imatinib mesylate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT02627677 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

A Study Comparing Ponatinib and Nilotinib in Participants With Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

OPTIC-2L
Start date: December 31, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of 2 starting doses of ponatinib compared to nilotinib in participants with imatinib-resistant chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in chronic phase (CP).

NCT ID: NCT01827930 Terminated - Clinical trials for Leukemia, Myeloid, Chronic-Phase

Phase III Trial Evaluating the Effectiveness of a Dose Adjustment of Imatinib Mesylate on the Molecular Response

MIM
Start date: July 2009
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The Imatinib Mesylate at a dose of 400 mg / day is the standard treatment for patients with CML-CP. Recent studies show that the quality of response rate (complete cytogenetic response and major molecular response rate) is dependent on the residual plasma Imatinib.

NCT ID: NCT01761695 Terminated - Clinical trials for Leukemia, Chronic Myeloid

Start date: January 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The investigators would like to propose a prospective longitudinal observational cohort study for patients who will be diagnosed and/or treated for chronic myeloid leukemia at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea, to use the acquired data for fundamentals of other retrospective analysis.
