View clinical trials related to Hepatitis C, Chronic.
Filter by:This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of PEGASYS plus ribavirin in patients with CHC who could not tolerate or were not responsive to 12 weeks of therapy with PEG-Intron plus ribavirin. The anticipated time on study treatment is 1-2 years, and the target sample size is >100 individuals.
This Phase 3 clinical study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of two dose levels of Infergen (interferon alfacon-1, CIFN) plus Ribavirin administered daily for 48 weeks and no treatment in patients chronically infected with hepatitis C who are nonresponders to previous pegylated interferon alfa plus ribavirin therapy. Patients are randomized 1:1:1 to receive Interferon Alfacon-1 (9 or 15 µg) + Ribavirin (both administered daily) or no treatment for up to 48 weeks. The protocol and informed consent form that will be used must be approved by the Investigator's Institutional Review Board (IRB)/Independent Ethics Committee (IEC) before the study is initiated.
To evaluate the safety and tolerability of two different doses of Consensus Interferon-Alpha and Interferon Gamma-1b with or without ribavirin in patients with chronic hepatitis C who are non-responders to PEG-IFN-a 2a or PEG-IFN-a 2b plus ribavirin.
The objective is to compare the safety and efficacy of the following three treatment regimens in previously untreated adult subjects with chronic hepatitis C infected with Genotype 1: (1) PegIntron 1.5 µg/kg/wk in combination with weight based REBETOL (800-1400 mg/day); (2) PegIntron 1µg/kg/wk in combination with weight based REBETOL (800-1400 mg/day); and (3) PEGASYS 180 µg/wk plus COPEGUS 1000-1200 mg/day.
The effects of treatment with different doses of PEGASYS in combination with different doses of ribavirin will be evaluated in patients with CHC genotype 1 who have a high viral titer, body weight greater than 85kg (187lbs) and no prior treatment with interferon. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of different durations of treatment with PEGASYS combined with ribavirin in patients with CHC genotype 2 or 3 infection who have never previously received interferon (IFN) therapy. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months and the target sample size is 500+ individuals.
The purposes of this Phase 1/2 study are to examine the safety, tolerability, and antiviral activity of ISIS 14803, when given in combination with peginterferon alfa and ribavirin, to patients who either failed to have at least a 100-fold HCV reduction at Week 12 of standard therapy or still have detectable HCV at Week 24.
This study will examine the effectiveness of low-dose peginterferon and ribavirin therapy for certain patients with chronic hepatitis C-a liver disease that, in some patients, can progress to cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer, and liver failure.
This study will measure the safety and tolerability of three different doses of IdB 1016 in patients with hepatitis C disease who have not responded to or are poor candidates for interferon-based therapies. NOTE: THE STUDY WILL ONLY RECRUIT STUDY PARTICIPANTS AT UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON MEDICAL CENTER IN SEATTLE
The objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PEG-Intron versus no treatment for the prevention of fibrosis progression in adult participants with moderate to severe liver fibrosis secondary to chronic hepatitis C, who failed PEG-Intron plus Rebetol treatment in protocol P02370 (NCT00039871).
