A Study of Niraparib Combined With MGD013 in Patients With Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumor Who Failed Prior Treatment

Start date: February 3, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a a Multicenter, Open-label, Single-arm, Phase Ib Dose Escalation and Multi-cohort Expansion Clinical Study to Assess the Safety and Antitumor Activity of Niraparib in Combination with MGD013 in Patients with Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumor Who Failed Prior Treatment. This study consists of dose escalation part and dose expansion part.'3+3'design will be adopted in the dose escalation part in subjects with advanced or metastatic gastric cancer who failed prior treatment. The dose of niraparib will be fixed and determined based on baseline weight and platelet count of subjects. Dose expansion part will be expanded at the specified dose level to further assess the safety and preliminary antitumor activity.

Preoperative Intravenous Iron Therapy in Patients With Gastric Cancer

IRONSTOMACH
Start date: November 2019
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this investigator initiated study is to study if preoperative intravenous iron is effective in reducing need for allogenic blood transfusion in patients with gastric cancer who will undergo a standardized gastrectomy including both total and subtotal gastrectomies. The hypothesis is that intravenous iron reduces the need for perioperative blood transfusions.

NCT ID: NCT04164069 Active, not recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Dasatinib for the Prevention of Oxaliplatin-Induced Neuropathy in Patients With Metastatic Gastrointestinal Cancer Receiving FOLFOX Chemotherapy With or Without Bevacizumab

Start date: September 2, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase Ib trial studies side effects and best dose of dasatinib in preventing oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy in patients with gastrointestinal cancers who are receiving FOLFOX regimen with or without bevacizumab. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as leucovorin, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin (FOLFOX regimen), work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. However, the buildup of oxaliplatin in the cranial nerves can result in damage or the nerves. Dasatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Blocking these enzymes may reduce oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy.

NCT ID: NCT04161781 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of PET Scans With the Radioactive Tracer 18F-BMS-986229 in Patients With Esophageal, Stomach, or Gastroesophageal Junction Cancer

Start date: November 12, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the study is to test 18F-BMS-986229 positron emission tomography (PET) imaging a practical and safe way to check the status of esophageal, stomach, and gastroesophageal junction cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04160962 Not yet recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

A Real World Study of Laparoscopic Preservation of the Pylorus Gastrectomy

Start date: January 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

For the patients with early gastric cancer (T1), preoperative evaluation (gastroscope, ultrasound gastroscope and abdominal enhanced CT) showed that the tumor was located in the body of the stomach, and the margin was enough to retain the pylorus and non lymph node metastasis (N0). Lappg (D1 + lymph node dissection) and traditional laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (BII type anastomosis, D1 + lymph node dissection) were included A control study was conducted to evaluate the difference of long-term quality of life, gastric emptying rate, incidence of basic reflux gastritis, bile contraction function, immune index, nutritional index and disease-free survival and overall survival between the two groups.

NCT ID: NCT04157985 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Evaluating Length of Treatment With PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitor in Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: November 15, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Based on the overwhelming positive response to this survey and the large number of patients being treated with PD-1/PD-L1 therapy in the UPMC system, the investigators are proposing a trial that will randomize patients who have disease stability to stop treatment at 1 year or continue treatment until disease progression. The investigators anticipate that the results of this study will answer questions regarding the optimal duration of treatment. therapy.
