Filter by:CK-301 (cosibelimab) is a fully human monoclonal antibody of IgG1 subtype that directly binds to Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and blocks its interactions with the Programmed Death-1 (PD-1) and B7.1 receptors. The primary objectives of this study are to assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of CK-301 when administered intravenously as a single agent to subjects with selected recurrent or metastatic cancers.
Aim: Assess accuracy of histological diagnosis using ultrasound guided biopsy for women with suspected endometrial cancer (as an alternative to hysteroscopy guided biopsy). All women presenting to clinic with suspected endometrial cancer will have an internal ultrasound. If the endometrial lining is thickened an endometrial biopsy will be performed. This can sometimes be done in an outpatient clinic, or sometimes a hysteroscopy and biopsy is needed (on a different day). Hysteroscopy guided biopsy has the advantage of enabling the clinician to perform directed biopsies under vision. Ultrasound guided biopsy is a ubiquitous procedure when used elsewhere in the body however it is not routinely used in this context. It does have the advantage of being easily performed on the same day as the first consultation. In this pilot study we will assess the diagnostic ability and tolerability of ultrasound guided biopsy of women with suspected cancer, as an alternative to hysteroscopy guided biopsy.
Aim: Assess the diagnostic accuracy of 3D Ultrasound, compared to MRI and final histology with respect to myometrial invasion of endometrial cancer. This study will assess whether 3D ultrasound is accurate at predicting myometrial invasion aqnd lymph node metastasis of endometrial cancer. All patients will receive routine standard of care (MRI). The results of the 3D ultrasound will be compared to the MRI report and final histology.
The APROVE study is a prospective single-center single-arm phase-II study. Patients with cervical or endometrial cancer after surgical resection who have an indication for postoperative pelvic radiotherapy will be treated with proton therapy instead of the commonly used photon radiation. A total of 25 patients will be included in this trial. Patients will receive a dose of 45-50.4 Gray in 1.8 Gray fractions 5-6 times per week using active raster-scanning pencil beam proton radiation. Platinum-based chemotherapy can be administered if indicated. The primary endpoint of the study is the evaluation of safety and treatment tolerability of pelvic radiation using protons defined as the lack of any CTC AE Grade 3 or 4 toxicity. Secondary endpoints are clinical symptoms and toxicity, quality of life and progression-free survival. The aim is to explore the potential of proton therapy as a new method for adjuvant pelvic radiotherapy to decrease the dose to the bowel, rectum and bladder thus reducing acute and chronic toxicity and improving quality of life.
MM-310 is a liposomal formulation of a docetaxel prodrug that targets the EphA2 receptor on cancer cells. Docetaxel is an approved chemotherapeutic drug. This study is a Phase 1 open-label study of MM-310 in patients with solid tumors. In the first part of the study, MM-310 will be assessed as a monotherapy until a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) is established. After an MTD of MM-310 as a monotherapy is established, an expansion cohort and MM-310 in combination with other therapies will be assessed.
Selective lymphadenectomy Sentinel (LSS). This technique is already well established in breast cancer and melanoma and more recently in vulvar and cervical cancer. Compared to lymphadenectomy, it has several theoretical advantages: - this is a sensitive technique with a detection rate of> 90% and a false negative rate of <5%. - the anatomopathological techniques used (immunohistochemistry with anti-cytokeratin antibodies, serial sections) are more sensitive than the standard histological analysis of lymphadenectomy, which allows an improvement in the detection of metastases (micro-metastases, isolated tumor cells). In the SENTI-ENDO study, it was possible to detect lymph node metastases in 11% of patients with low-risk endometrial cancer and in 15% of intermediate-risk patients. - it avoids short-term and long-term operative and post-operative morbidity of lymphadenectomy. Early studies of LSS in endometrial cancer demonstrated superior efficacy of the colorimetric method coupled with the Technetium 99m isotopic method with an overall detection rate of 78% [95% CI: 73-84]. The fluorescent green of indocyanine appears to give better results with an overall detection rate of 94% and a bilateral detection rate of 80%. It seemed useful to take stock of this technique using this new dye.
Study RGX-104-001 is a Phase 1, first-in-human, dose escalation and expansion study of RGX-104, an oral small molecule targeting the liver X receptor (LXR), as a single agent and in combination with nivolumab, ipilimumab, docetaxel, or pembrolizumab plus carboplatin/pemetrexed.
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in developed countries and the second one in developing countries following cervical cancer. The primary treatment for endometrial cancer involves total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, with adjuvant radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy reserved for patients with advanced disease or who have risk factors for relapse. The tumor is confined to the uterus in 85% of endometrial cancers. Hence, it's controversial to perform systematic lymphadenectomy to all patients. The primary purpose of the present study is the to investigate the feasibility of sentinel lymph node determination in endometrial cancer patients operated via conventional laparoscopy. To determine sentinel lymph nodes cervical indocyanine green will be injected prior to the surgery. During the surgery using fluorescent imaging systems sentinel lymph nodes will be removed and examined by frozen section. Afterwards, systematic pelvic lymphadenectomy will be performed. In case of type II endometrial cancer, grade 3, metastatic sentinel lymph nodes or macroscopically enlarged paraaortic lymph nodes, paraaortic lymphadenectomy will also be performed. The secondary purpose of the study is to compare the conventional laparoscopy in sentinel lymph node mapping of endometrial cancer patients.
Phase Ib/II study to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of PM01183 in combination with olaparib in patients with advanced solid tumors.
The main purpose of this 3-part study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the study drug known as LY2880070 in participants with advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
