Filter by:This trial is a single-center two arm, open label observational prospective study, that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of crisaborole ointment, 2% alone compared to a combination therapy of crisaborole and a topical corticosteroid (Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment, 0.1%) over a 8 week period for the treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.
This proposed project will be an open-label, split-arm, randomized controlled pilot study. Up to 60 patients diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (eczema) will be enrolled in the study. The purpose of this study is to understand the change in skin barrier function and skin microbial composition in patients with atopic dermatitis following dilute bleach bath/soak and dilute vinegar bath/soak.
Primary Objective: To characterize the patients who receive Dupixent® (dupilumab) for AD in a real-world setting, with respect to their medical history, socio-demographic and disease characteristics, and prior and concomitant treatments of AD Secondary Objectives: - To characterize real-world use patterns of Dupixent® for AD (eg, used regimens, reason for initiation of new treatments, concomitant therapies, treatment durations and reasons for discontinuation and/or switching) - To assess the long-term effectiveness of Dupixent® in AD patients in a real-world setting - To assess comorbid atopic conditions and effects of treatment in comorbid atopic conditions in patients who receive Dupixent® for AD - To collect safety data on study participants
This phase I trial studies the side effects of a silicone topical wound dressing (StrataXRT) and to see how well it works in preventing radiation dermatitis (skin burns and side effects caused by radiation) in pediatric patients undergoing radiation therapy. StrataXRT may help prevent or decrease severe skin rash, pain, itching, skin peeling, and dry skin in pediatric patients undergoing radiation therapy to the brain or spinal cord.
The main purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of nemolizumab after a 16-week treatment period in adult and adolescent subjects with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) not adequately controlled with topical treatments.
Long-Term Safety and Efficacy of Nemolizumab in Subjects with Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis Description
The main objective of the present study is to investigate the feasibility, safety and tolerability of CareMin650 in patients with 1) head & neck cancer at high risk of or suffering from oral mucositis and/or radiation dermatitis due to the administration of radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy with or without targeted therapy, 2) breast cancer at high risk of or suffering from radiation dermatitis due to the administration of radiotherapy.
The main purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of nemolizumab after a 16-week treatment period in adult and adolescent subjects with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) not adequately controlled with topical treatments.
The main objective of the study consists in characterizing the immune cells that are present/persist in the skin and the blood of atopic dermatitis (AD) patients treated with Dupilumab, as well as with potent/very potent topical corticosteroids (TCS: betamethasone valerate cream 0.1% or clobetasol propionate cream 0.05%). A specific attention will be paid on the presence/persistence of skin Trm and ILCs. The study population will consist of 20 adult patients suffering from moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis and eligible for Dupilumab treatment. (Patients should have inadequate response, intolerance or contraindication to systemic anti-inflammatory treatments). This is an exploratory, prospective, single-site, randomized, open labeled study. There is a treatment period of 168 days (24 weeks) and a post-treatment follow-up period of maximum 102 days.
This is a pragmatic, randomized, controlled, equivalency trial. This 12-month trial will evaluate the impact of an online, team-based connected health (TCH) model for management of atopic dermatitis (AD) as compared to in-person care. 300 patients will be randomly assigned to the online TCH model or the in-person control arm. This pragmatic, randomized trial will compare AD disease severity (Aim 1), quality-of-life and access-to-care measures (Aim 2), and costs (Aim 3) between the two models.
