sixty participants will be divided in to two groups (n=30) of patient treated by partial caries removal according to the capping material (A),where (A1)represents calcium silicate group,(A2)represent calcium hydroxide group.Apply light activated calcium silicate for group (A1) in deep occlusal caries and taking the base line image after restoring the cavity with composite restoration and apply light activated calcium hydroxide for(A2)group in deep occlusal caries and taking the base line image after restoring with composite restoration.Take follow up image after one year to measure the calcific bridge formation for both groups.

To minimize the effects of polymerization shrinkage in the restorative treatment, there are new composites called Bulk- Fill which the companies has developed this composites for example Tetric N Ceram(Ivoclar-Vivadent) and Filtek ( 3M ESPE). Its decreased polymerization shrinkage and properties allow the material to be inserted in one layer being quickly than traditional composite. This clinical study is designed to compare the clinical performance of the bulk fill composite resin in Class I (one-surface posterior), II (two-surface posterior) and V (cervical-surface posterior) fillings.

Treatment of Postorthodontic White Spot Lesions

Dental caries is the destruction of the tooth structure in the presence of organic acids produced by cariogenic bacteria located in the dental biofilm (Dowker et al., 1999 and Robinson et al., 2000).Tooth enamel comprises 90% substituted hydroxyapatite (Ca10 (PO4)6(OH) 2), which is subjected to consecutive cycles of demineralization and remineralization. This is an interrupted process, with periods of remineralization and demineralization occurring, depending on the state of the oral environment in terms of the prolonged accumulation and retention of bacterial plaque on the enamel surface (Aoba, 2004). Oral bacteria ferment carbohydrates to produce organic acids which lower the pH and cause the subsurface dissolution of the hydroxyapatite crystals. Under normal physiological conditions (pH7), saliva is supersaturated with calcium and phosphate ions which diffuse into the vacancies created during acid-mediated demineralization episodes (Dowker et al., 1999 and Robinson et al., 2000). The demineralization of enamel (white spot lesions) is a significant problem during and after orthodontic treatment with prevalence 71.1% and various preventive measures have been suggested to minimize the incidence (Derks et al., 2004 and Al Maaitah et al., 2011).

Antibacterial Effect of Light-activated Calcium Silicate Versus Light-activated Calcium Hydroxide

This is a randomized clinical study. 48 subjects with a confirmed diagnosis of deep carious molars without pulpal lesions were randomized to one of two treatments: Patients treated with Light-cured calcium silicate (Theracal) liner, or treated with light-cured calcium Hydroxide (Biner LC) liner. Both two Treatments are with the step-wise excavation Technique. Treatment will be done at baseline, collecting dentin sample before application of liner material, then patients will be dismissed with Resin-modified Glass Ionomer restoration and recalled after 6 months. Re-entry of tooth required for completing the step-wise excavation technique collecting the second dentin sample after this time interval (6 months) and permanently restore tooth with composite restoration. Dentin samples will be microbiologically analyzed and the results will be statistically calculated.

A Phase 2 Study to Evaluate the Microbiology, Safety and Tolerability of C16G2 Varnish and Strip in Adolescent and Adult Subjects

An open-label and single-blind phase 2 study to evaluate the oral microbiology, safety and tolerability of multiple C16G2 Varnish and Strip applications in male and female dental subjects 12-75 years of age. The study will compare multiple study drug administrations of C16G2 Varnish and/or C16G2 Strip in three study arms. In Study Arm 1 eight subjects will be enrolled in an open-label manner and will receive a daily dose of C16G2 Varnish application over 3 days followed by 14 doses of C16G2 Strip administered over 7 days. Following the three C16G2 Varnish applications, each subject will receive 7 days of AM and PM dosing with C16G2 Strip and will be followed for microbiology for up to 2 months after the last study drug administration. Study Arm 2 will enroll 12 subjects in a single-blind manner. Subjects will receive four C16G2 Varnish or Placebo applications over 7 days, followed by 3 additional weekly varnish administrations. Subjects will be followed for microbiology for up to 2 months after the last study drug administration.The treatment allocation will be 1:1 (6 subjects receiving C16G2 Varnish, 6 subjects receiving Placebo). Study Arm 3 will be initiated based on the Sponsor's review of all microbiology data up to two week post last study drug administration from Study Arm 2. If initiated, Study Arm 3 will enroll 6 subjects in an open-label manner. Subjects will receive daily single doses of C16G2 Varnish over 10 days, for a total of 10 doses and will be followed for microbiology for up to 2 months after the last study drug administration.
