NCT ID: NCT02371122 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Failed Back Surgery Syndrome

Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) Therapy Study

Start date: June 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of different spinal cord stimulation settings in the treatment of leg pain. Subjects will receive a randomized order of four different programmed stimulation settings for 3 weeks each followed by a fifth and final setting.

NCT ID: NCT01452022 Completed - Clinical trials for Degenerative Disk Disease

Performance of Inductigraft in Spinal Fusion

APOLLO
Start date: October 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label non-randomised, prospective, post market study to evaluate the performance of Inductigraft (osteoinductive synthetic bone graft) in patients receiving posterolateral lumbar spine fusion through assessment of successful fusion at 12 months post operation using x-rays and CT scans. Quality of life questionnaires also used to assess clinical outcome measures such as pain and quality of life. Patients followed up for 24 months after surgery.

NCT ID: NCT01439464 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Degenerative Disk Disease

Study of Bioactive Glass-ceramic Intervertebral Spacer (Bonglass-SS) in Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion

Start date: October 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to compare Bonglass-SS with titanum cage.

NCT ID: NCT01045473 Not yet recruiting - Spinal Stenosis Clinical Trials

Prospective Study of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery

Start date: January 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The population of the US is aging. They remain more active and place greater demands on their musculoskeletal system. A key problem is that pain and disability of age related spinal disorders will increase. Problems such as Degenerative Lumbar Spondylolisthesis, Degenerative Disk Disease, Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Scoliosis are age related problems that are treated with spinal fusion when non-operative treatment fails. Traditional open surgery poses significant risk for patients in this age group. The use of minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques provides an opportunity to treat these patients with less morbidity than traditional open surgery.
