There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study was planned to determine the effect of emotional freedom technique (EFT) on breastfeeding success and self-efficacy in primiparous women in the early postpartum period who had a cesarean delivery.
Due to the limited number of studies investigating the relationship between kinesiophobia, radiographic parameters, and clinical outcomes in patients with Femoroacetabular Impingement Syndrome (FAIS) in the literature, the aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between kinesiophobia and clinical parameters in patients with FAIS.
Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is a condition that occurs as a result of inhaling carbon monoxide gas and can potentially lead to serious health issues. The treatment of CO poisoning requires urgent medical intervention. Methods used in the treatment of CO poisoning include normobaric oxygen (oxygen at normal pressure), high-flow oxygen, non-invasive continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Studies on these methods are available in the literature.
Cholecystectomy is the most common abdominal surgical procedure in developed countries Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is considered the gold standard surgical technique for gallstones. The analgesic effectiveness of TAP block has been demonstrated after laparoscopic cholecystectomy operations. m-TAPA block has been described as an alternative analgesic technique in abdominal surgeries. The aim of this study is to compare these two analgesic methods in terms of effectiveness for postoperative analgesia management after laparoscopic cholecystectomy operations.
The aim of this clinical research study was to determine the effect of the use of a cartoon character mask on treatment compliance and parental satisfaction and to evaluate the effectiveness of the cartoon character mask in children receiving inhaled therapy for the treatment of respiratory system diseases in children. The hypotheses it aims to answer are as follows: H1: Inhalers given using a mask with a cartoon character facilitate treatment compliance. H2: The inhaler given using a mask with a cartoon character makes treatment compliance difficult. H3: Inhaler treatment using a mask with a cartoon hero increases parental satisfaction. H4: Inhaler treatment using a mask with a cartoon hero decreases parental satisfaction. H5: Inhaler treatment using a mask with a cartoon hero has a positive effect on the hospitalization process. H6: Inhaler treatment using a mask with a cartoon hero has a positive effect on the recovery process. H7: Compared to routine inhaler mask use, the use of masks with cartoon heroes provides a positive relationship between treatment adherence and parental satisfaction. In the study, according to randomization, the intervention group will receive inhalers with masks, and the other group will receive inhalers routinely used in the clinic. The treatment of the children was planned by the physician, and no additional treatment was given for the study. Children's adherence to treatment and parents; satisfaction will be evaluated. The effectiveness of the masked inhaler used will be asked.
This clinical trial aimed to determine the effect of breastfeeding education using a doll during pregnancy on newborn feeding. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Breastfeeding education using a doll has a positive effect on breastfeeding competence scores. 2. Breastfeeding training using a doll has a negative effect on the breastfeeding competence score. 3. Breastfeeding training has a positive effect on infant feeding in the postnatal period. 4. Breastfeeding education hurts infant feeding in the postnatal period. Prenatal data collection tools will be applied as a pretest. One group will receive prenatal breastfeeding training with a doll and a written brochure. The control group will receive verbal breastfeeding education and a written brochure. After the birth, breastfeeding will be performed. Then a posttest will be conducted using data collection tools. The effect of applied breastfeeding education given with a doll on infant feeding and breastfeeding self-efficacy will be determined. In addition, the effectiveness of the training material will be tested.
The purpose of this study is to M.D. Validity of the Turkish version of the Anderson Dysphagia Inventory for the Turkish population, reliability, and cultural adaptation.
High levels of fear avoidance can lead to chronic pain and disability and can predict rehabilitation time in the sports-related injury population. Therefore, taking fear avoidance into account may be useful in creating the most appropriate and effective rehabilitation plan, thus shortening the time to return to play. The aim of our study is to verify the validity and reliability of the Athlete Fear Avoidance Questionnaire (AFAQ) in Turkish.
The aim of study is to examine the chronotype preferences of patients with fibromyalgia syndrome and the relationship between central sensitization and chronotype, and to examine its relationship with pain intensity, disability and quality of life.
Studies have reported that individuals with Rheumatoid Arthritis have a smaller muscle cross-sectional area, pennation angle and muscle thickness than healthy controls. Sarcopenia may decrease physical performance and quality of life in individuals with RA. Therefore, morphologic changes in the quadriceps femoris muscle due to sarcopenia may help us to gain insight into physical function and quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the predictive capacity of morphologic characteristics of the quadriceps femoris muscle for disease activity, physical performance, and quality of life in women with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
