NCT ID: NCT04096365 Completed - Conduction Defect Clinical Trials

Subcostal Temporary Extracardiac Pacing Study

STEP
Start date: August 25, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Up to 15 subjects will be enrolled to evaluate initial safety and performance of the AtaCor Temporary Pacing System. Safety will be evaluated through analysis of all Adverse Events. Performance will be evaluated through (1) the incidence of successful StealthTrac Lead placement using the MACH I Delivery Tool, (2) electrical performance measurements, such as pacing capture thresholds, sensed R-wave amplitudes, pacing impedance and skeletal muscle stimulation at rest. Appropriate sensing and pacing capture will be ascertained from ECG Holter Monitor recordings during periods of in-hospital ambulation.

NCT ID: NCT04036253 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Anemia of Chronic Kidney Disease

Study of HEMAX PFS Versus EPREX/ ERYPO® in Predialysis Chronic Kidney Disease

Start date: February 28, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Phase III, multicenter, randomized, open, controlled clinical trial. A study designed as phase III, in 120 patients with chronic renal failure in the pre-dialysis stage, evaluate efficacy and safety of Hemax PFS® (PFS: prefilled syringes) vs the innovator erythropoietin alfa product (Eprex®).

NCT ID: NCT04019808 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Gastric Cancer Risk Factors Knowledge in European and Latinamerican Population

LEGACY-3
Start date: July 30, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is divided into two parts: Part 1: An interventional study, with a pre-post study design to determinate the grade of knowledge of established GC risk factors. Part 2: An observational study to know impact on prevalence and infection eradication of H. pylori

NCT ID: NCT04016870 Enrolling by invitation - Bradycardia Clinical Trials

Project My Heart Your Heart: Pacemaker Reuse

MHYH
Start date: October 13, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Lack of access to pacemakers is a major challenge to the provision of cardiovascular health care in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC). Post-mortem pacemaker utilization could be safe, efficacious, and ethically responsible means of delivering the needed care. Reconditioned pacemakers can provide therapy for patients with symptomatic bradycardia and no means of receiving a new device. The objective of the clinical trial is to determine if pacemaker reutilization can be shown to be a safe means of delivering pacemakers to patients in LMIC without resources. Consented patients in this multi-center trial will be randomized to undergo implantation of either a reconditioned device or a new device.

NCT ID: NCT04015466 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Advanced GC Multi-omic Characterization in EU and CELAC Populations

LEGACY-2
Start date: June 12, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Observational study (cohort type) of advanced GC patients that will be recruited prospectively to study biological factors associated with the disease and relevant clinical outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT03997994 Active, not recruiting - Biliary Stricture Clinical Trials

DIGEST I Drug Coated Balloon for Biliary Stricture

DIGEST
Start date: May 12, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

DIGEST I Pilot study is a feasibility study for evaluating the safety and efficacy of DCBs.

NCT ID: NCT03957031 Completed - Cancer, Gastric Clinical Trials

Gastric Cancer Risk Factors Associated With EU and CELAC Populations

LEGACY-1
Start date: May 31, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study uses a case-control design that examines the differences in types of exposures between cases defined with a pathological confirmation of GC diagnosis, and controls, defined as patients to whom a gastroscopy was indicated and confirmed absent of GC i

NCT ID: NCT03916731 Completed - Clinical trials for End Stage Renal Disease

Evaluation of STARgraft AV for Hemodialysis Access

Start date: April 2, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is a First-in-Human, single site, prospective, randomized, controlled evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of the Healionics STARgraft AV hemodialysis access graft. The STARgraft has been demonstrated in preclinical studies to have improved resistance to the common failure mode of venous anastomosis stenosis. Performance of the STARgraft AV will be compared against control implants of commercially available standard ePTFE grafts approved for the same use. The study is enrolling patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) requiring hemodialysis via a prosthetic vascular graft. The study proposes to: 1. Demonstrate improved primary patency of the investigational STARgraft AV compared to the ePTFE controls over a period of 6 months, with extended results to 1 year. 2. Verify safety of the STARgraft AV multilayer construction in extended vascular access use. It is intended to enroll 25 subjects each for the investigational devices and the controls respectively (50 total) with randomized device allocation at subject presentation for implant surgery.

NCT ID: NCT03896789 Completed - Clinical trials for TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)

Pediatric Guideline Adherence and Outcomes- Argentina

Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pediatric traumatic brain injury (TBI) is the leading killer of children worldwide but effective treatments for TBI are limited. Although evidenced-based pediatric TBI guidelines exist, adherence to these guidelines is low, leading us to develop a new Pediatric Guideline Adherence and Outcomes (PEGASUS) program to increase TBI guideline adherence. We propose to test the PEGASUS program's ability to improve TBI guideline adherence and outcomes.
