NCT ID: NCT02599480 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hypertrophy, Left Ventricular

Assessment of Efficacy of Mirabegron, a New beta3-adrenergic Receptor in the Prevention of Heart Failure

Beta3_LVH
Start date: April 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will assess the efficacy of mirabegron, a new beta3-adrenergic receptor in the prevention of heart failure. This is a two armed, prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-centric european phase IIb trial with placebo and mirabegron distributed in a 1:1 fashion. The patients enrolled will have cardiac structural remodeling with or without symptoms of heart failure (maximum NYHA II). Patients will be monitored for change in left ventricular mass (assessed by cardiac MRI) and/or changes in diastolic function (assessed by echocardiography) after 12 months of treatment.

NCT ID: NCT02588963 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Tract Infections

Prevention of Respiratory Infections Among Children Under 3 Years of Age Attending Daycare Centres

PRICAD
Start date: January 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of Primary and Secondary Prevention of Respiratory Infections in children up to 3 years-old attending daycare.

NCT ID: NCT02576431 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Solid Tumors Harboring NTRK Fusion

A Study to Test the Effect of the Drug Larotrectinib in Adults and Children With NTRK-fusion Positive Solid Tumors

NAVIGATE
Start date: September 30, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research study is done to test how well different types of cancer respond to the drug called larotrectinib. The cancer must have a change in a particular gene (NTRK1, NTRK2 or NTRK3). Larotrectinib is a drug that blocks the actions of these NTRK genes in cancer cells and can therefore be used to treat cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02542293 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Carcinoma NSCLC

Study of Durvalumab With Tremelimumab Versus SoC as 1st Line Therapy in Metastatic Non Small-Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) (NEPTUNE)

NEPTUNE
Start date: November 3, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, open-label, multi-center, global, Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of durvalumab + tremelimumab combination therapy versus platinum-based SoC chemotherapy in the first-line treatment of patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) wild-type advanced or metastatic NSCLC.

NCT ID: NCT02536118 Active, not recruiting - Bradycardia Clinical Trials

Micra Transcatheter Pacing System Post-Approval Registry

Start date: July 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Medtronic is sponsoring the Micra Registry to further confirm safety and effectiveness of the Micra Transcatheter Pacing System (Micra system) when used as intended, in "real-world" clinical practice, following commercial release. The Micra Registry is conducted within Medtronic's Product Surveillance Registry.

NCT ID: NCT02516241 Active, not recruiting - Urothelial Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of MEDI4736 (Durvalumab) With or Without Tremelimumab Versus Standard of Care Chemotherapy in Urothelial Cancer

Start date: November 2, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A Phase III, Randomized, Open-Label, Controlled, Multi-Center, Global Study of First-Line MEDI4736 (Durvalumab) Monotherapy and MEDI4736 (Durvalumab) in Combination with Tremelimumab Versus Standard of Care Chemotherapy in Patients with Stage IV Urothelial Cancer

NCT ID: NCT02513394 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

PALbociclib CoLlaborative Adjuvant Study

PALLAS
Start date: August 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, two arm, international, multicenter, randomized, open-label Phase III study evaluating the addition of 2 years of palbociclib to standard adjuvant endocrine therapy for patients with HR+ / HER2- early breast cancer (EBC). The purpose of the PALLAS study is to determine whether the addition of palbociclib to adjuvant endocrine therapy will improve outcomes over endocrine therapy alone for HR+/HER2- early breast cancer. Assessment of a variety of correlative analysis, including evaluation of the effect of palbociclib in genomically defined tumor subgroups, is planned.

NCT ID: NCT02494986 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1

A Roll-over Study With Rilpivirine for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) Infected Participants Who Participated in Rilpivirine Pediatric Studies

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to provide continued access to rilpivirine (RPV) for participants who were treated with RPV in a clinical development pediatric study with rilpivirine and who, at the time of roll-over, experience and are expected to continue experiencing clinical benefit from RPV treatment.

NCT ID: NCT02486718 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study to Assess Safety and Efficacy of Atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) Compared to Best Supportive Care Following Chemotherapy in Patients With Lung Cancer [IMpower010]

Start date: October 31, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase III, global, multicenter, open-label, randomized study to compare the efficacy and safety of 16 cycles (1 cycle duration=21 days) of atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) treatment compared with best supportive care (BSC) in participants with Stage IB-Stage IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) following resection and adjuvant chemotherapy, as measured by disease-free survival (DFS) as assessed by the investigator and overall survival (OS). Participants, after completing up to 4 cycles of adjuvant cisplatin-based chemotherapy, will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive atezolizumab for 16 cycles or BSC.
