There are about 1295 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Lithuania. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Mechanical bowel preparation for left-sided colorectal surgery remains standard in most cases. However, there are some discrepancies on how to prepare the bowl, while rectal enema and oral agents are both available methods. The knowledge of intestinal microbiome role on surgical outcomes is increasing, since few recent reports linked microbiome composition to postoperative complications, such as anastomotic insufficiency. Although, it is not clear how the bowel preparation affects the gut microbiome. Therefore, different bowel preparation techniques impact on gut microbiome will be studied.

The main purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of nemolizumab after a 16-week treatment period in adult and adolescent subjects with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) not adequately controlled with topical treatments.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antidrug antibody (ADA) response for MEDI8897 in healthy late preterm and term infants who are 35 weeks or greater gestational age and entering their first RSV season.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of extended dosing with IONIS GHR-LRx in participants with acromegaly as add-on to somatostatin receptor ligands (SRL) therapy.
This is a 52 week Phase 2b study designed to evaluate the efficacy at 16 weeks and to evaluate the safety and efficacy up to 1 year in subjects with active psoriatic arthritis.
The objective of this study was to collect data both retrospectively and prospectively in order to evaluate the long-term outcomes, durability of effect, and real-world treatment patterns following treatment with Cladribine Tablets or placebo in participants with multiple sclerosis (MS) who were previously participated in the parent studies (ORACLE MS and CLARITY/CLARITY-EXT).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of MEDI8897 compared to palivizumab when administered to preterm infants entering their first RSV season and children with chronic lung disease (CLD) and congenital heart disease (CHD) entering their first and second RSV season.
This is a prospective cohort pilot study. The investigators are planning to develop an original, standardized colorectal anastomosis inspection method, which will systemically inspect the anastomosis vascularity using the indocyanine green fluorescent angiography intraluminally and intraperitoneally, the air leak test, the methylene blue test, the tension in the anastomosis inspection, patients' risk factors scale sum. The summarized evaluation will determine the final anastomotic leak risk.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether oral etrasimod is a safe and effective treatment for moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
