NCT ID: NCT05086523 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hypertension,Essential

Cardiac Neuromodulation Therapy (CNT) "Washout" Sub-Study

Start date: September 27, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This washout protocol is structured as a sub-study for patients willing to participate after finishing the double blind randomised phase of the clinical trial, NCT02837445. Devices will be turned off for a week approximately. Patients will have their PHC programmed to automatically turn off 24 hr after a medical and technical visit and remain in regular pacing. Ambulatory recording of the BP will start at the end of the visit, and continue for 24 hr after the turn off time (48 hr recording). Conversely, patients will return at the end of the first week, when a second 48 hr recording will be initiated, this time, the PHC will be programmed to turn on 24 hr later. The recordings therefore will provide data of the ON to OFF transition for the evaluation of the residual effect of PHC after 24 h and after week.

NCT ID: NCT05081557 Recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess Real-World Use, Safety, and Effectiveness of Oral Upadacitinib in Adult and Adolescent (>=12 Years Old) Participants With Atopic Dermatitis

AD-VISE
Start date: November 17, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Atopic dermatitis (AD; also known as atopic eczema) is an inflammatory skin disease. The safety and effectiveness of upadacitinib for AD has been well-documented in previous studies, however, important information is missing on the use patterns and outcomes with upadacitinib in a real-world setting. Therefore, the purpose of this observational study is to help inform real-world usage patterns regarding the safety and effectiveness and duration of response of upadacitinib in adolescent and adult AD participants >=12 years old in the real-world setting. Upadacitinib is an approved drug being developed for the treatment of AD. Around 975 adolescent and adult participants who are prescribed upadacitinib for the treatment of AD in routine clinical practice will be enrolled worldwide. Participants will receive oral upadacitinib as prescribed by their physician. Data from these participants will be collected for approximately 2 years. There will be no additional burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the course of the study at a hospital or clinic and will be asked to provide additional information by questionnaire at each visit.

NCT ID: NCT05077904 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Stereotypical Prolonged Seizures

A Study to Test the Efficacy and Safety of Staccato Alprazolam in Study Participants 12 Years of Age and Older With Stereotypical Prolonged Seizures

Start date: December 7, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to assess the success of a single administration of Staccato alprazolam compared with placebo both in rapidly terminating a seizure episode within 90 seconds and with no recurrence of seizure(s) up to 2 hours after investigational medicinal product (IMP) administration.

NCT ID: NCT05070845 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia

Safety and Efficacy Study of PF-06835375 in Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia

Start date: February 2, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2, open-label, multicenter, multiple subcutaneous injection, safety and efficacy study of PF-06835375 in adult participants with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). This study will focus on participants with persistent (>3 months and ≤12 months), or chronic (>12 months) ITP

NCT ID: NCT05067790 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Spinal Muscular Atrophy

A Study to Evaluate Higher Dose (HD) Nusinersen (BIIB058) in Participants With Spinal Muscular Atrophy Previously Treated With Risdiplam

NCT ID: NCT05056220 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Decompensated Cirrhosis and Ascites

Personalized Long-term Human Albumin Treatment in Patients With Decompensated Cirrhosis and Ascites

Start date: February 26, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical biomarker validation trial is to test the effect of a predictive biomarker panel to human albumin infusions in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites. The main questions it aims to answer are: - If the predictive biomarker panel can identify patients who are likely to benefit from regular human albumin infusions - If the predictive biomarker panel can lower the number-needed-to-treat of regular human albumin infusions in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites The predictive biomarker panel will stratify patients into either a high- or low-expected effect of human albumin infusions. Hereafter are participants randomized into treatment arms. Participants in the active treatment arm will receive regular human albumin infusions during a course of 6 months. Infusions will occur every 10th day for the duration of the study. Researchers will compare 20% human albumin infusions with regular 0.9% sodium chloride to identify the effects on the number of liver-related events.
