This study consists of two periods. The objective of Period 1 is to evaluate the efficacy of upadacitinib in combination with a 26-week corticosteroid (CS) taper regimen compared to placebo in combination with a 52-week CS taper regimen, as measured by the proportion of participants in sustained remission at Week 52, and to assess the safety and tolerability of upadacitinib in participants with giant cell arteritis (GCA). The objective of period 2 is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of continuing versus withdrawing upadacitinib in maintaining remission in participants who achieved sustained remission in Period 1.

Background of the study: The combination of daratumumab with VRd is anticipated to further improve response rates in patients and may lead to improved long-term outcomes in newly diagnosed patients with multiple myeloma. Given this potential, and based upon the initial safety and efficacy observed in the ongoing Phase 2 Study MMY2004, as well as continued positive results with daratumumab in various disease settings and combination regimens, this Phase 3 study is designed to demonstrate improved outcomes for patients treated with daratumumab+VRd. The Phase 3 study will utilize the subcutaneous (SC) formulation of daratumumab instead of the IV formulation utilized in the Phase 2 study, which may limit additional toxicity to patients treated with the quadruplet regimen.
The main objective is to determine whether a low-dose regimen of apixaban (2.5 mg bid) is non inferior to a full-dose regimen of apixaban (5 mg bid) for the prevention of recurrent venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with active cancer who have completed at least 6 months of anticoagulant therapy for treating a documented index event of proximal deep venous thrombosis (DVT) (symptomatic or incidental) or pulmonary embolism (symptomatic or incidental).
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of luspatercept (ACE-536) compared to epoetin alfa on red blood cell (RBC) transfusion independence (for at least 12 weeks) with a concurrent hemoglobin increase of at least 1.5 g/dL in participants with anemia due to revised international prognostic scoring system (IPSS-R) very low, low, or intermediate risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) who require RBC transfusions and have never been exposed to erythropoiesis stimulating agent (ESA).

The purpose of this study is to compare nivolumab plus neoadjuvant gemcitabine/cisplatin (GC) chemotherapy, followed by post-surgery continuation of immuno-oncology (IO) therapy, with neoadjuvant GC chemotherapy alone in adult participants with previously untreated muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of zolbetuximab plus capecitabine and oxaliplatin (CAPOX) compared with placebo plus CAPOX (as first-line treatment) as measured by Progression Free Survival (PFS). This study will also evaluate efficacy, physical function, safety, and tolerability of zolbetuximab, as well as its effects on quality of life. Pharmacokinetics (PK) of zolbetuximab and the immunogenicity profile of zolbetuximab will be evaluated as well.
This is a long-term extension trial to study the safety and tolerability of continued setmelanotide treatment in patients who have completed a previous clinical trial on treatment with setmelanotide for obesity associated with genetic defects upstream of the MC4 receptor in the leptin-melanocortin pathway.
