The aim of this study is to analyze the perceptions, representations and experiences of septic isolation of patients hospitalized for COVID-19 infection. This analysis could lead to better understanding and communication between the medical profession and patients in septic isolation in hospital. It would also provide patient-specific responses to their expectations, as to their families.
This is an open-label, multicenter, phase Ib study to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of AN0025 in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with locally advanced/metastatic tumors. It will include a dose-limiting toxicity observation phase followed by an expansion phase. All enrolled patients will be treated with AN0025 and Pembrolizumab until the patient experiences disease progression, unacceptable toxicity or withdraws consent, or for a maximum of 35 cycles (approximately 2 years). The dose of pembrolizumab will remain constant at 200 mg every 3 weeks (Q3W) for each dose level of AN0025 and in each cohort.
This is a multicenter long-term extension study designed to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of faricimab administered by intravitreal (IVT) injection at a personalized treatment interval (PTI) to participants who enrolled in and completed one of the two Phase III studies, GR40349 (NCT03622580) or GR40398 (NCT03622593), also referred to as the parent studies.
Cohort prospective study. The project is a prospective French population based cohort. A hundred moderate preterms born at GA30-326/7 will be enrolled for a longitudinal follow-up up to 2 years of corrected age. Eligible neonates will be those born at 30-326/7 weeks of gestation admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of Rennes Hospital, including transferred infants during the first day of life. The infants will be followed up to the corrected age of 2 years by pediatricians.
A study designed to evaluate the safety of crovalimab with eculizumab in participants with PNH currently treated with complement inhibitors. This study will enroll approximately 190 participants.
Description of the standard values and fluctuations of the new NIPE index during routine pediatric anesthesia. NIPE monitor connected to anesthesia monitor, displays an instantaneous value ranging from 0 to 100. NIPE values described at different time points during anesthesia: beginning of induction, intubation, extubation, skin incision, opioid administration, vasopressors or atropine administration, transfusion, volume expansion. In addition, NIPE values during hemodynamic events (heart rate or blood pressure increase greater than 20%) will be recorded.
Although the majority of tibial fractures heal normally, some fractures may not heal within the usual time frame and is known as delayed bone healing within 4 to 6 months and absence of bone healing within 9 to 12 months in the most severe case of. Several factors can increase the risks of delayed healing complications like, for example, smoking, violent shocks (for example, due to a road accident) or even the type of fracture (an open fracture). The location of the fracture is also an important factor: among the bones of the arms and legs, the tibia is known for being the most at risk for complications. At tibial fracture with several risk factors could lead to delayed complications and interfere with patient daily life and reduce the quality of life. The study drug, ALLOB®, is constituted of bone cells produced from the bone marrow of healthy adult donors. Preclinical studies have shown that ALLOB® cells are capable of forming bone and repairing fractures. When directly injected into a fracture, ALLOB® should therefore promote the healing of the fracture by re-establishing a healthy environment and stimulating bone production. To date, there is no treatment for fractures considered at risk of delayed complications. The current practice on diagnosis of complications is to wait at least 6-12 months before considering alternative interventions to promote fracture healing. The injection of ALLOB® quickly after the fracture should stimulate bone healing, reduce healing time, reduce complications, and improve the quality of life for the patient. ALLOB® has already shown preliminary evidence of effectiveness in the treatment of delayed bone healing fractures (ALLOB-DU1 clinical trial), including tibial fractures (8 patients). With this study, the Sponsor will evaluate whether ALLOB® promotes the healing of tibial fractures compared with placebo.
The prognosis of traumatized hemorrhages is correlated with the nature of transfusion therapy: a 50% reduction in mortality for an early and massive supply of plasma, and 20% for an early and massive supply of platelets. However, this strategy encounters logistical difficulties, particularly in a context of collective emergency (attacks). The use of whole blood, widely documented by the Armed Forces, improves the availability of plasma and platelets, and simplifies handling by the various actors in the chain. T-STORHM is a randomized, controlled, parallel clinical trial.This study tests non-inferiority of whole blood transfusion therapy in the management of coagulopathy in patients with acute traumatic hemorrhage.
The goal of this study is to evaluate the performance of the Medacta Shoulder System total reverse shoulder prosthesis, at 2 years of follow up, in patients who required this prosthesis for primary omarthrosis, cuff tear arthropathy, massive cuff tear or post instability arthropathy. The main goal is to evaluate at 2 years post-operatively the shoulder function of patients. The secondary goals are to assess the rate of complications, the survival rate of Reverse Medacta Shoulder System, the positioning of the prosthesis,pthe behaviour of the bone in contact with the humeral stem, Patient satisfaction and evolution of shoulder function in patients at 3 months and 1 year post-surgery.
