NCT ID: NCT05500755 Recruiting - Dental Implants Clinical Trials

Clinical and Radiographic Evaluation of Dentsply Sirona PrimeTaper Implants

Start date: July 29, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The DS Prime Taper EV dental implant system was recently launched on the implant market by Dentsply Sirona (York, PA, USA). Dental implant systems are undergoing rapid evolution, ultimately driven by their broad therapeutic indications. As manufacturers strive to keep up with the demands of a growing market, designs are changing faster than clinical evaluation. This means that the time needed to assess medium- and long-term clinical outcomes before designs change again cannot be met. Clinicians need to have a "real" analysis of the clinical performance of implants before using them. Therefore, reporting of results is necessary to avoid use in patients without proper practical checks even before the recommended 10- and 15-year follow-up periods.

NCT ID: NCT05499130 Recruiting - Crohn Disease Clinical Trials

A Study to Test the Effect of TEV-48574 in Moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease

RELIEVE UCCD
Start date: August 29, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective is to characterize the efficacy TEV-48574 in adult participants with IBD (moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease (CD)) as assessed by induction of clinical remission (UC) and endoscopic response (CD) at week 14. Secondary objectives: - To evaluate the efficacy and dose response of the 2 different dose regimens as assessed by multiple standard measures - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of the 2 different dose regimens - To evaluate the immunogenicity of the 2 different dose regimens The study will consist of a screening period of up to 6 weeks (42 days), a 14-week treatment period, and a 4-week follow-up period.

NCT ID: NCT05498428 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-small-Cell Lung

A Study of Amivantamab in Participants With Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors Including Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR)-Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

PALOMA-2
Start date: November 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the anti-tumor activity and safety of amivantamab which will be administered as a co-formulation with recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20 (rHuPH20) (subcutaneous co-formulation [SC-CF]) in combination treatment (all cohorts except Cohort 4) and to characterize the safety of amivantamab SC-CF (Cohort 4).

NCT ID: NCT05497973 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Psychosocial eHealth in Advanced Lung Cancer

Start date: November 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Being diagnosed with cancer impairs many areas of a person's life. Although efficacious educational, emotional and social interventions exist in this regard, they often reach few survivors and late. This project, carried out by a specialized centre in cancer care and health research, will study the effectiveness, costs, and utility associated with a digital ecosystem tailored to meet the needs of patients with advanced lung cancer. This solution bridges the gap between patients and professionals to offer health services precisely when they are needed. The project is developed in the first year of an advanced lung cancer diagnosis, comparing the effects of the digital ecosystem with usual care in terms of their capacity to improve various psychosocial indicators. A comparative economic analysis will be carried out as well, to prove the cost-utility of the digital ecosystem presented.

NCT ID: NCT05495646 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Catheter-Related Infections

Infection Related to Short-term Central Venous Catheters

Start date: August 8, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to evaluate the incidence of infection of short-term central venous catheters by comparing different cannulation techniques (by anatomical references and under ultrasound control) and according to the experience of the operator in patients undergoing elective surgery. A prospective observational study will be carried out in which all scheduled surgery patients who have a central venous line inserted for 12 months will be included. Those under 18 years of age, patients with catheters lasting more than 14 days and those who do not sign the informed consent will be excluded from this study. A chest X-ray will be performed on all patients in order to diagnose possible complications associated with the technique and, only in case of suspected infection, culture of the catheter tip and blood cultures of blood obtained from the catheter and peripheral blood will be requested.
