There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether TH-302 in combination with pemetrexed is safe and effective in the treatment of non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
The purpose of this study is to support selection of an appropriate safe and efficacious dose for study in further development.
The aim of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of restarting ruxolitinib after treatment interruption due to loss of response and/or adverse events.
The primary objective of this study is to obtain long term safety data of ataluren in male participants with nonsense mutation dystrophinopathy (who participated and completed a previous Phase 3 study of ataluren [PTC124-GD-020-DMD {NCT01826487}]) to augment the overall safety database. Screening and baseline procedures are structured to avoid a gap in treatment between the double-blind study (PTC124-GD-020-DMD) and this extension study. This study may be further extended by amendment until either ataluren becomes commercially available or the clinical development of ataluren in duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is discontinued.
Prospective, multi-center, open-label, single-arm, Phase 3b psychometric validation study. Primary objectives: To evaluate the psychometric characteristics of reliability and construct validity of the French, Italian and Spanish versions of the PAH-SYMPACT™. To evaluate the ability of the French, Italian and Spanish versions of the PAH SYMPACT™ to detect change. Secondary objective: To assess the safety of macitentan in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Exploratory objective: To explore the effects of macitentan on PAH symptoms and their impact (as measured by the PAH-SYMPACT™) in patients with PAH in France, Italy and Spain.
This is a multicenter, double-blind, Phase 2b, long-term extension (LTE) to the ADDRESS II core trial (EMR 700461-023) (NCT01972568), to evaluate long-term safety and tolerability of atacicept in participants with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Participants who completed the 24-week core study ADDRESS II core study (NCT01972568) and thus not met any of the discontinuation criteria were invited to enter this long-term extension (LTE) study NCT02070978.
The investigators hypothesis is that patients at risk of ARDS, detected by LIPS (Lung Injury Prediction Score), under mechanical ventilation could benefit from a protective ventilatory strategy (used in ARDS treatment) in order to avoid or decrease the ARDS development. This would lead to a decrease in incidence, mortality and health care costs associated to this syndrome. This study will help to confirm the current evidence about low tidal volumes, evaluating adverse events of this strategy.
This was a multinational, multicenter, randomized, open-label study to confirm and expand the efficacy, safety and tolerability evidence of 48 hours intravenous infusion of serelaxin (30 micrograms/kg/day) when added to Standard of Care (SoC) in patients admitted to hospital for Acute Heart Failure (AHF).
This is a blinded study in adult patients with PAH evaluating the relative effects of sildenafil on mortality when administered at the three doses (80 mg, 20 mg or 5 mg, all three times per day [TID]). In addition, the relative effects on clinical worsening and 6-minute walking distance (6MWD) will be assessed.
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of Coherence Therapy in treating procrastination. For that, this intervention is compared to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy which was already proved to be efficacious in treating this problem. The method used is a randomized controlled trial.
