There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to collect patient related benefit data following treatment for permanent hearing loss with a hearing implant from the company Cochlear over a period of 2 years post treatment. Assessment of benefits is based on standard questionnaires of hearing ability and quality of life in general.
The purpose of the this international, multicenter, randomised, single-blind, parallel group, Phase III study is to demonstrate that a single transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)-guided intraprostatic injection of NX-1207 provides a long lasting therapeutic improvement of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) associated with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) in patients not adequately controlled by medical therapy with α-blockers, as assessed by a change from baseline in the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) total score.
A treatment with SpaceOAR™ hydrogel does reduce late toxicity Grad 2 and Grad 3 of radiation therapy in prostate cancer patients
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of three different Tregalizumab doses in combination with Methotrexate (MTX) in subjects who have active rheumatoid arthritis and an inadequate response to MTX alone. The overall study duration is 24 weeks followed by a 24 week extension phase.
This open-label study is to determine the safety and efficacy of momelotinib in participants with either polycythemia vera (PV) or essential thrombocythemia (ET) who have not yet received treatment with a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor.
The study hypothesis under test is that administration of the CCR2/5 antagonist has the potential to be as effective as the current treatment options for subjects with diabetic macular edema. The current treatment option for these subjects is an injection directly into the eye, while this CCR2/5 antagonist would be an oral drug which has the potential to be just as effective. This CCR2/5 antagonist also has a broader anti-inflammatory potential and might be able to provide an alternative mechanism to treat Diabetic Macular Edema.
The purpose of the registry is to gather both retrospective and prospective case data on the use of the commercially available Magellan Robotic System and Magellan Robotic Catheters in accordance with the approved intended use. For prospective cases, follow-up patient data will be collected at 14 days (± 5 days) post procedure to assess treatment success, primary patency of intended targeted vessel region, and adverse events. The data will be analyzed for medical education, societal presentation, and/or publication by the investigators. Over the next 2+ years, physicians who meet the selection criteria will be invited to participate in the registry.
Multicentre, prospective, observational post-market registry. To monitor and collect data on the post-market clinical safety and performance of the Vascutek Rapidax II Vascular Access Graft.
This study evaluates the PCSK9 inhibitor, Bococizumab (PF-04950615;RN316), compared to placebo, in reducing the occurrrence of major cardiovascular events, including cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and unstable angina requiring urgent revascularization in high risk subjects who are receiving background lipid lowering therapy and have cholesterol laboratory values of LDL-C >/= 100 mg/dL (2.6 mmol/L) or non-HDL-C >/=130 mg/dL (3.4 mmol/L).
This study evaluates the PCSK9 inhibitor, Bococizumab (PF-04950615;RN316), compared to placebo, in reducing the occurrence of major cardiovascular events, including cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and unstable angina requiring urgent revascularization, in high risk subjects who are receiving background lipid lowering therapy and have cholesterol laboratory values of LDL-C >/= 70 mg/dL (1.8 mmol/L) or non-HDL-C >/= 100 mg /dL (2.6 mmol/L).
