NCT ID: NCT02320435 Active, not recruiting - Solid Tumor Clinical Trials

A Safety and Efficacy Extension Study of Pertuzumab in Patients With Solid Tumors Previously Enrolled in a Hoffmann-La Roche-Sponsored Pertuzumab Clinical Trial

Start date: February 2, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-arm, multi-center, open-label extension study designed to provide continued pertuzumab therapy to patients receiving pertuzumab as an investigational medicinal product (IMP) in a Roche-sponsored global study and who continue to receive pertuzumab at the end of the Parent study, as well as to collect long-term safety and efficacy data of pertuzumab therapy. Patients with solid tumors who have not experienced progressive disease in the Parent study and, in the investigator's opinion, may potentially benefit from continued pertuzumab treatment, will continue to receive pertuzumab until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, investigator/patient decision, patient non-compliance, patient death, patient request to withdraw, or study termination by the Sponsor, whichever occurs first.

NCT ID: NCT02075840 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study Comparing Alectinib With Crizotinib in Treatment-Naive Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase-Positive Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Participants

ALEX
Start date: August 19, 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This randomized, active controlled, multicenter phase III open-label study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of alectinib compared with crizotinib treatment in participants with treatment-naive anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive (ALK-positive) advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either alectinib, 600 milligrams (mg) orally twice daily (BID), or crizotinib, 250 mg orally BID. Participants will receive treatment until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, withdrawal of consent, or death. The study is expected to last approximately 144 months.

NCT ID: NCT01881659 Active, not recruiting - Cervical Cancer Clinical Trials

Cervical Cancer Screening With Human Papillomavirus Testing

ESTAMPA
Start date: May 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

HPV testing for primary cervical cancer screening of women over 30 years of age is likely to become the standard of care in the near future in many areas of the world. Its high sensitivity can significantly improve the effectiveness of screening programs and its prolonged negative predictive value can allow extension of screening intervals. However, a single HPV test has low positive predictive value and can lead to unnecessary workup and over-treatment and generate unnecessary distress. This multi-centric study will screen 50,000 women with HPV testing and compare several triage approaches that can follow HPV testing in order to make an HPV-based screening programme efficient, affordable and sustainable.

NCT ID: NCT01500551 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

Long-Term Safety Study Of Tofacitinib In Patients With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

Start date: March 18, 2013
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Evaluate long-term safety and tolerability of tofacitinib in patients with JIA, who have previously participated in tofacitinib JIA studies.

NCT ID: NCT00867464 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Human Papillomavirus Infection

Extended Follow Up of Young Women in Costa Rica Who Received Vaccine for Human Papillomavirus Types 16 and 18 and Unvaccinated Controls

Start date: March 30, 2009
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This research trial studies extended follow up of young women in Costa Rica who received vaccine for human papillomavirus types 16 and 18 and unvaccinated controls. Collecting information from young women in Costa Rica who have received vaccine for human papillomavirus types 16 and 18 and a new group of unvaccinated controls enrolled for the follow-up period, may help doctors learn more about the risks and benefits of prophylactic human papillomavirus vaccine.
