Clinical Characteristics of Patients Developing Chronic Dry Eye After Refractive Surgery

In recent years, many scholars have studied the ocular surface damage of patients with dry eye disease(DED)after FS-LASIK, but there has been a lack of comprehensive observation and research on the relationship and difference between dry eye (DE)patients with and without LASIK. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of ocular surface and cytokines after FS-LASIK, and further explain the pathogenesis of chronic dry eyes after FS-LASIK. In addition, we will also compare clinical characteristics and tear neuropeptide concentrations in patients with dry eye disease (DED) with and without chronic ocular pain following FS-LASIK, and to investigate correlations between ocular pain, clinical characteristics, and tear neuropeptide levels.

Early identification and diagnosis of lymphoma-associated HLH has become the key to improve the prognosis of lymphoma-associated HLH. Therefore, we conduct a multicenter, prospective, observational clinical study to explore the sensitivity and specificity of cytokines for the early diagnosis of lymphoma-associated HLH.

Long-term Efficacy and Safety Research of Left Bundle Branch Pacing

Patients with successful left bundle branch pacing in our center were included in this study from April 2018 to December 2019. Baseline data was collected, and pacing parameters, ECG and echocardiographic results were analyzed during 3 years follow-up. According to whether or not a potential was recorded and the specific potential characteristics at implantation, the patients were divided into 3 groups: left bundle branch potential group; Purkinje potential group; and no-potential group. During the 3 years follow-up, the investigators collected the ECG、UCG and pacemaker parameters to analyze.

Anxiety and depression in later life are highly prevalent, often appear as comorbid disorders, and have many adverse consequences for both the individual and society. Given the disease burden, the large influx of new cases, and the economic costs, efforts should be made to prevent the onset of anxiety and depression in later life. Preventive interventions are likely to become more cost effective when they are targeted at elderly who have been exposed to risk factors known to be predictive of the onset of anxiety and/or depression. As the population aging is speeding up, senile diseases have become a significant and severe public health problem, influencing national health. More than 20 million elderly patients undergo surgery each year in China, accounting for a quarter of the population who undergo surgery.
